What ever happened to Moonstone : A Hard Days Knight? I am sure it used to be on GOG but its vanished and I was going to buy it!

No, the game never was on GOG. You must be mistaking it for a different game.

To be honest I always thought that game was Amiga only but I just looked it up and there seems to have been a DOS version as well. It was never here though.

Yep I had it on Amiga and PC, I still have my big boxed Amiga version. :)

The big boxed Amiga version is worth a lot of money now if it still works (big if).

I played the DOS version. I don't remember anything about the game itself, but I do remember that I really enjoyed it. I have low standards though, so that doesn't mean for sure that the DOS version was good.

It's all a matter of finding the right strategy for pumping up your knight. I used to suck at this as a kid but about ten years ago I did a full playthrough and it was a piece of cake - even the dragon and final boss were easy. All it took was finding the right order for "cleaning" the map and maybe a bit of luck in the early game. The more I think about it the more I feel like it barely differs from any modern sandbox RPG in this regard, it's just missing level indicators.

Well, I had a pirated version without manual and never knew what I was supposed to do. So I never survived longer than a few days in the game.

Now that I bought it as it is here: I have an XBOX controller, but there is just one direction for the cursor: down. What is going wrong?

I can do options without the Pad, but am not able to do anything else except move with the Keyboard. Are there no options for keyboard? What is going wrong with the pad?

Anyone knows help?
