Space sims fits very well with VR. This may give it some sorta revival. It is one of those genres that I have just never really gotten into.

EVE: Valkyrie is sadly an Oculus exclusive. Glowing reviews, but I couldn't really get into it.
CDF Starfighter VR - Early Access. As the name imply, it is VR only.
Elite Dangerous - should be great, but have a tough learning curve. Should have really good VR support.
Rogue System - Early access, aims to be more realistic. Aims for VR support.
Strike Suit Zero - It's VR is outdated - but can be played without!
ARM Planetary Prospectors Asteroid Resource Mining - Early Access, VR support
They're Trying to Ram Us VR - VR only, but the graphic is worth a look!

OMG!!!

That last game I mentioned ... turns out it was created by a guy named Christian Boutin who also was responsible for Construction Bob in the Bouncing Factory ... Great game! I played the heck out of the shareware version!

Gerin: How about Rebel Galaxy?
I played it for less than an hour. One of those "it's cool, I'll play it when I have the time" sort of games, that you inevitably never play again. Re-downloaded it, plan to give it a bit more of a chance this time around.

I also been considering giving Elite: Dangerous a shot. Does anyone know if the game holds up? Specially for new players that don't have the Horizons season pass, which I hear left it kinda unbalanced.

So now we are getting Everspace on GOG and then I remembered ASTROKILL too, which is only on Steam as far as I know. Both combat oriented games
