Removed Redline from the Tommo Section because of today's release
But then added the 4 Humungous franchises to it

Then found that Strategy First have been spamming STeam with Shovelware so made many additions to that section- I doubt we'd want much of it to come here but the list doesn't judge!

Also Anuman seems to have a Dracula series published by Meridian 4, I bent the rules slightly to include it

VanishedOne: According to what http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vangers says about Vangers...

The Russian publisher was , which is now owned by [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1C_Company]1C, who are on GOG as the publisher of Perimeter. http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ru&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fweb.archive.org%2Fweb%2F20120224202333%2Fhttp%3A%2F%2Fkranx.com%2Fold%2Fru%2Fnode%2F712 mentions 1C as the publisher in the context of wanting to be able to release a code update.

The North American publisher was Interactive Magic, now iEntertainment Network, on GOG here: http://www.gog.com/games##devpub=ientertainment_network_inc
Seems the rights to Vangers have ended up with KranX as the KranX guy was the main guy behind it - they have now added it to Steam
http://kranx.com/en/2014/04/kranx-productions-announced-reissue-of-vangers-on-steam/
As GOG doesn't have anything by KranX I've removed it from my listings and added this entry to 'changes'
"2014-04-25 Removed "Vangers (Buka - 1C Company / iEntertainment)" as it was added to another DD site with 'KranX' listed as publisher and GOG has no previous history with them"
Personally I still think its pretty cool that this interesting and unique looking game is back, depends how you feel about Steam though - Maybe it will come here soon though...

*edit* also added a 'Merge Games' section today

Thanks for the information. GOG would certainly be a more natural home for an 'oldschool game from 1998 with epic hardcore gameplay and no help whatsoever', so here's hoping.

Edit: good news. :-) http://www.gog.com/forum/general/games_that_are_unofficially_confirmed_for_release_in_the_future_part_2/post469

You might like to add Face Noir, published by Phoenix Online Studios - although strangely it moby page listed the publisher as Daedalic.

The Dracula series is now complete on GOG. :)

Yeah, I shouldn't have put that one on there in the first place - don't know what I was thinking!
Cheers

OK cool - added a 'Phoenix Online Studio' section for Face Noir and Lost Civilisation
Thanks
I came across the game Gun from Activision on their online store - http://store.activision.com/store/atvi/en_US/pd/productID.222850800/sac.true; cost is bloody $19.99! No wonder it's not here on GOG yet. :-/

I did see Caesar IV on there for 14.99 which, to me, seems more reasonable for a 2006 game (although we don't even have Caesar 1 and 2 here yet, sheesh Activision...)

Its £9.99 on Steam

Which is what? $15? Still a bit steep for GOG but a little better

I think Caesar I was released as freeware at one point, not sure where it and the second one have got to though
Bigger mystery is where is the Chinese entry in the series - Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom?

I still think it has to do with Activision in general - we're missing numerous other highly-desired classics from them.
Added a few more titles to the Anuman section from the Microids Groupee:

How come Max Payne isn't in the list? Remedy/3d Realms.

Well A) Neither party was the publisher of that game back in the day, that was Take Two, B) Back in 2002 3D Realms and Remedy (who were 50/50 co-owners) sold the Max Payne IP to Take Two in deal worth approx $48 Million.

Lol yeah - what he said! (Cheers)
I just spotted a new, arty little 2D side scrolling RPG thing from Ubisoft called 'Child of Light' so I've added it to their section - looks quite nice

With the release of World Pinball, Rebellion have brought their 2nd 21st Century Ent. title to GOG,
I googled around and there WAS a google preview of a page that suggested that Rebellion had bought the rights to all of 21st C's old stuff but the page had gone when I clicked on it!

That's good enough for me though - went through and added the remaining 21st Century titles to the Rebellion section

Also recently added Dungeon Lords to Anuman (via Dreamcatcher), F-14 Tomcat to Activision and iF22 to iEntertainment

*edit* and THAT led me to expand the I-Magic/iEntertainment section loads too!
(The Industry Giant series seems to have gone to Nordic by way of JoWooD)
