I would like to see games in the store, which aren't there. Hm, I am sure, I am not the only one with this issue.

What do I miss today on the point are

- Elvira - Mistress of the Dark /Horror Soft + Accolade /1990 /DOS.
- Elvira II - The Jaws of the Cerberus /Horror Soft + Accolade /1990 /DOS.

It's for nostalgia, played them on my first PC-AT 286, I think. :D
Hey, second point: it is iconic and Cult.

On the other hand: The inofficial successor called Waxworks (1993, without Elvira) is on the store.

You would like to see games here that aren't sold here? Or do you mean you would like to see these games sold here? If it's the later then use the wishlist, that's the only option here, or contact the Ip owners.
If it's the former, not going to happen, it's a store, not a collectors database.

Oh, man, if you go to a shop in your street. You look around and afterwards you tell the shopkeeper that you're looking for this sweet little candy-thingy, but you miss it in his store. Of course you're interested in consuming it with a sweet tooth. Well, it could be, he has it under his desk or in a new designed package. Else he will do anything to fulfill your needs as a customer (ideally) to present it to you by your next visit to his shop.

So the Candy should be added to the store, where you can find it, to buy and consume it. It is that easy.

The wishlist contains games, which are actually already in the store. But I think, the content of the store is being expanded all the time, so these 2 games I ask for could be added by the way, when an opportunity is there. Well, less a collectors database perhaps, but more like a library :D - I just communicate my needs and desires. :)

It's not that easy, really.
There are licensing issues with a whole host of games.
Then there are sales expectations for GOG to think about.
Not to mention compatibility problems to be solved.
There was a cool mini-documentary released about GOG some time ago, it should be still on youtube, they talk about how games can be acquired for the store and the hardships that are connected to it.

Yeah, I am aware of this. But it's -what do we call it today- "Web 2.0" ? - So simple users are able to talk (back).
And well, I mentioned at the beginning, there is already a game with a similiar background on the store and these games are iconic - so there may be some buyers out there beside of me.

It's just a hint of (a) users interest. Gog can pick it up, if they think they could/should/whatever.

P.S.: Thanks for the reference on that documentary, perhaps I will try it later ;)

Yes, I am not saying those games shouldn't be on GOG. I can give a vote on the wishlist for those, for what it's worth.
But again, sometimes laws make it impossible, the license needs to be in the hands of a publisher, and that publisher needs to have a contract, how ever flimsy and short-lived, with GOG.
But yes I hope those and other classics will be published here.
And you're welcome.

…Parsing..

Poetic script is pretty and all, but sometimes just saying a straight statement is a lot easier for a viewer to digest.

You want the Elviria games on GOG, in spite of the fact that Elvira is a licenced likeness.
