Enebias: Also, acronyms. Too many. SE, FSR, DLSS? I have a hard time following the topic.
SE = Eidos

DLSS = Deep Learning Super Scaling (nVidia's proprietary upscaling using machine learning and the hardware AI cores on the RTX 2 and 3 series cards to provide near the quality of native resolution but rendered and upscaled from a lower resolution. Because of the use of machine learning technology, in certain cases, texture detail can be better when using DLSS, although items that move at an extreme render distance might ghost or erratically move)

FSR = FidelityFX Super Resolution. It's basically a simple spatial upscaler with possibly some sharpening that offers a performance gain at the cost of more detail than you lose by using DLSS. It's very similar to nVidia's 2019 Image Scaling.

Ice_Mage: I find the protagonist's attitude extremely grating. "Woah!! Yeah, I can do magic now. Sure. Uh huh" and all that. Just seeing her talking with people out of medieval times while she's wearing a plaid shirt was very off-putting.
Indeed. It's ridiculous the way she talks. I hope one at least can lower speech volume, turn off subtitles and skip dialogue.

Zimerius: Story trailer : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AdZUrXCqUck

Here's me hoping for a more mature Nier Automota styled game
I haven't played Nier, so I can't really comment on that. But I haven't noticed anything "mature" in this trailer. It's the usual попаданец/isekai (or what is the proper English name for a genre where the ordinary human protagonist goes to another world and kicks ass). With angsty young adult no less.

tfishell: The basic version is $70 for me.
The game being 22% cheaper in the US really takes the cake. It's even worse going to the Epic Store and seeing that price in local currency.

Same price tag for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, another game from Square Enix, but one that I'm actually interested in. I don't recall how much the original version cost back in the day, but this new pricing scheme is making my head spin.
