The limitless multiplication of unnecessary necessities.

Building a civilization is a challenge worthy of the gods, but even an enlightened dictator or an outstanding strategist have to face the burdens of leadership if they want to herd nations, rule an island or secure the survival of a city. But don't worry! All sofa strategists, domesticated dictators and caring managers - we've got you covered with our special mid-week sale!

Build your city and breathe life into it in SimCity series (-75); rule with a hard hand and an exquisite sense of humor in Tropico (-70%) or colonize an alien world with Aven Colony (-75%).

If you're a fan of frosty weather, you should definitely try to face a blood-chilling experience in Frostpunk (-40%), where low temperatures often bring emotional fever.

If you're more into action and conquests, jump into Raw Fury collection of games, now up to -80%. What about charming but brutal real-time tactics roguelite Bad North (-25%) or GoNNER a tough as hell procedurally-generated 2D platformer with roguelike elements?

The Midweek Strategy Sale ends May 18th, 10pm UTC, and Raw Fury games promo ends May 22th, 10pm UTC.
And that completes my Tropico collection... at least until 6 gets here in a year or so.
Edit: they've fixed it so my link is no longer working

Finally going to take a dip into Banished. I'm in the mood for something less violent although I hear winters are brutal.

They are, but as a whole, the game offers a very relaxing experience. Really, the game oozes quality and atmosphere.

True. In fact, I was almost a bit disappointed, as I expected it to be more difficult. But after a while I got the hang of it and now it's really a breeze. It's very important to have enough tools. ;D
I'm interested in snagging Kathy Rain, Aven Colony and perhaps Urban Empire. Hmm, maybe I better watch some game play footage first, those Urban Empire reviews aren't spectacular...
Did I miss an announcement of Shovel Knight going on sale for 50% off? I think that's the lowest it's been since the devs revamped their pricing strategy a couple of years ago, and yet the game doesn't appear to be a part of either of the midweek sales at the moment. It's placed pretty prominently in the Sale section of GOG's home page right now.
Very nice on the part of the developers of kathy rain. Last week, the game was given in steam free, activated by more than 350,000 users (not to me that i had already bought it before in a bundle) and now only a 80 per cent of discount on gog, why not a 90 per cent to incentivate buy it to obtain the drm-free version. From Europe the game cost 2,69 euros, a bit expensive having this in mind. A bit disappointed. It´s the price for the drm-free version.

We really complain about an 80% discount now (and about costs of $3) for a pretty good adventure game???

No matter if the game was free on Steam in the past, it's still a very good offer.

It's a "Special Promo" that will run for a week. Not sure why it has not gotten an announcement...

You are correct that it's the first decent sale on the game package since 2-Mar-2017 when it was 60% off and way better than the previous best of 20% off for Spectre of Torment for those with the discontinued edition.

A ha! The other major game stores just jumped on that sale too. Looks like GOG's was just a tad early, based on when their sales start.

Though perhaps GOG had bad luck choosing a sale date....one week or so earlier and they might've made many more sales.

Yes, in fact is a good offer and an excellent adventure game, only that they could have more sales in gog if the offer would be before the gift in the other store because the past was last week, not months or years ago.
