· Fran Bow played by BraxtonWise - 13th August, 4 PM UTC.
· Hollow Knight played by Flaose - 13th August, 11:30 AM UTC.

The complete schedule can be found here.
Speaking of Worms Armageddon, is there an ETA on the fix for 3.8? The changelog says it should be version 3.8 by now, but it isn't. The last update still shows it as 3.7 (no OpenGL/Window mode available). I tried reinstalling the entire game via Galaxy and offline installer and nothing's really changed. The file size shown for either download is also off for some reason. Please sort it out.
Hollow Knight & Soundtracks really should be titled as Hollow Knight: Soundtrack Edition - as it is on the banner picture.

Otherwise I would think it is about hollow knight plus its soundtracks, I had to check what does the game contains, but when there is Edition in the name then and mostly always that would mean that the game contains base game and released dlcs plus soundtrack.

Or maybe it is just too hot outside and my brain didn't had a chance to cool of. :)

EDIT: Oh, and soon silksong is getting here, nice. :)

Some good games in this sale. 2D games are the best :). Of the ones I have played, I like Hollow Knight, Samorost 2 and 3, Machinarium, Fell Seal: Aribter's Mark, and Tales of Maj'Eyal. They all seem like good prices. The Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark DLC doesn't sound like it adds much and seems more a way for people who really like the game to give the devs extra money, although I haven't tried it and only played the game when it first came out (it sounds like they have added a bunch of stuff since then, although there was already quite a bit when I played). I didn't like Pilgrims or the one Worms game I tried once.

Samorost 3 and Hollow Knight are two of my favorite games of any type.

Samorost 3 is an adventure game that incorporates music in unusual ways and is visually nice as well. Finding interactable things on many screens gives their version of acheivements that come with sounds that you can play in any combination you want on the achievements page. Some of the puzzles are a bit confusing but there is an in game hint book (that unlike Machinarium is not too difficult to look at). Samorost 3 and Botanicula are my favorite adventure games; the puzzles in Creaks are better but it isn't as musically or IMO visually as nice. It isn't necessary to play the Samorost games in order (the first one is a free flash game, although on a site without https so a bit of a security risk so I won't link it).

Hollow Knight also has a really nice graphic style (that makes good use of the kind of display that turns off black pixels), excellent sound effects, and a great sense of exploration (to the point that I suspect most people will want a walkthrough handy to avoid spending too much time lost :/, although there is a lot of hidden stuff to find later when you have more abilites). It has very precise controls and the boss movements get quite quick but they signal what they are doing so even if you are a slow thinker like me you can manage if you are patient enough and keep trying, as long as you can physically make the required movements (well, I didn't finish the hardest of the DLC bosses yet and I'm not sure I'll be able to manage that one or one other extra hard optional boss, but I was eventually able to do a number of things that seemed rediculously impossible at first like the quest where you need to travel through a bunch of screens without taking any damage at all). Personally I rank at least Guacamelee, the old SNES Donkey Kong Country games, and Little Bug a bit higher among platformers since there is a violent aspect to Hollow Knight that I don't like (and very little story, although that is true in most platformers), however I think there are quite a few people who consider Hollow Knight their favorite. I recommend getting the DLC as well. Note that there is a down and slash mechanic that is required to progress at one point that I didn't see explaned.

Note that the base Tales of Maj'Eyal game is free with just a few features missing (like item vault) so you can try it before you buy. I did have trouble with crashing on an older system (Sandy Bridge) with integrated video (that didn't start happening immediately for some reason but made it unplayable once it did start) under both Windows 7 and Linux.

Should anyone want to see if they are interested in the worms games, there is an open source clone called hedgewars.

https://www.hedgewars.org/

I don't know much about it, but I found it via the open source game clones page after vaguely remembering seeing a worms clone at some point.

https://osgameclones.com/

Note that many of the games listed are unplayable (look for status:playable) and many are only game engine remakes and require you to have a copy of the game (still handy for many old games) but some (such as hedgewars or openttd or super tux kart) are playable full games.
