It probably means that there will be a major sale starting at any moment in the next couple days. For example Gog skipped a Weekly sale on monday when there would be a major sale starting on tuesday some time ago.

Looking at the historical sale date thread, it's virtually guaranteed there's an incoming Summer Sale later on this week.
