ShadowWulfe: Microsoft will certainly put them to work, and give them the backing to produce.

My worry is that they will push to make all of their content exclusive to that god awful Windows Store.

Let's not forget the stuff that is exclusive to there like Halo (I think? I tried to look up what the store had one time and it kept crashing), Gears of War, and Age of Empires 1.

Obviously, all we can do is see what happens, but I'll keep my eyes a little bit more open to Obsidian stuff on sale here once the ownership changes.
Very smart... but read my very long reply , ( post above this one) eventually we wont have games.... its all in the cloud.... and we will pay through the nose and they will know everything about us cause they need creditcard payments, or other indentifiable payments, you will login the account and be greeted with your first name, and congratulated on your bday, they will give you a link to get 20% off when you buy dogfood , they will know what pets how old and where yo bought them.... everything will be know ٩◔‿◔۶ ,
anyway i hope this Bladerunner future will happen in lets say 50 years to be on the safe side, then its no longer a problem to me unless i become >100

Good news (TM) indeed.

With all of this streaming everything subscription everywhere garbage, I will raise this Vice article:

(I don't know how to clean that link up)

I expect the same thing to happen with games.

like this ?

https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/article/d3q45v/bittorrent-usage-increases-netflix-streaming-sites

copy the link when they redircted you to the site from the bar with the link in it

check attachment: link.png

there might be addons that do that but too many addons have been known to collect data :D thats why i have a minimum of addons in Firefox.

lol, i scrolled down and look how intresting:

Study Again Shows 'Pirates' Tend to Be The Biggest Buyers of Legal Content

Well thats a coincidence it is true ............ lack of games/ movies or any content will blablablabba
they are right, how many times do gamers ask for games, game s that are all oevr the entire socalled 'abandoned' games sites, for years btw, maybe decades .... but because legal multimedia companies simply do not want to or cant ( usually dont want to) get a certain games/games or movie people want to have.
Anyway with games its different cause today almost any new game is avaialbel sooenr or later in a legit shop online like GOG steam, gamersgate etc etc etc
BUT older games and movies are often NOT ... so thats why they get it elswhere :D cause they want to pay but sites that sell the games/movies dont want to because of whatever reason they have.
