Hi I would have help to ask, I have the Messiah game, and the menus are in Italian, however, the audio is not.
Anyone know how to set the language?
I read that there are files to rename, but the Messiah.ita file does not exist, yet it should be in the game ....
There are videos on youtube with gameplay, in which the Italian language is heard.

The game page only shows English as a supported language. It’s also the only option in the downloads section. Therefore Italian doesn’t appear to be one of the supported languages for the gog version. Perhaps try to find an Italian version somewhere on the web to get the additional files you need.
Thanks so much. However, I don't understand why GOG doesn't fully support other languages.

Maybe they didn’t license it, maybe they don’t have the files, maybe it doesn’t work with a patch. Only GOG would know that, send them a support ticket, they may let you know.
So, I managed to find the Italian files on the net, found from the original Italian CD.
I inserted the translated files and once I did this, I went to the registry under:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ WOW6432Node \ Shiny \ Messiah \ 1,00,000
here in Language I set the letter "I" for Italian.
Now the menu with all the options is in Italian, there are the usual Italian subtitles, and the voices at stake are in Italian.
But there is a problem, which I can't solve. The audio from the gameplay footage remained in English!
Initially I thought the files were in the Music folder of the game, but those aren't the files, because by trying, I deleted the folder, and the game movies are always with the audio in English.
Searching, searching in the end I understood the problem.
Here I really need an eseprto, help me !!
So, let's start from the initial movie.
The file is "intro.mve" if I replace it with that of the CD, the audio of the video disappears. There is video but not audio. By inserting the CD 2 which contains the audio files, the sound of the movie is magically heard and it is in Italian !!!
Now What I want to do is figure out where the audio of the file modified by GOG is located, so that I can replace these last files, and not have to use the CD.
Is there a way to open these files in the "pc" folder? so as to change the path where he goes to get the audio?

I just installed it quickly as I thought it might be a disc image in the install location. However it seems to be a full plain install. I have an old downloader from years back. If I get a chance tomorrow I will download the newer version and have a look. What I can suggest, if you have the cd files, do a comparison of the files in your install location, to those on the disc, maybe something is missing or changed.
The other may be video encoding, perhaps one of the things gog did was re encode the videos to play on new systems, the ones you have from the cd are old encoding and win 10 doesn’t have the driver to play the sound.
Just guessing. Also, pop a support ticket in, they will get back to you eventually.
Thank you so much for your help. Yes, I will definitely contact support.
However the files have been modified by gog, because In those of the CD, as I said above, they have a command to go and look for the audio files on the CD. The version of GOG, obviously not having the CD, will have moved the audio files inside the folder, but I don't know where, and modified the files so that they do not go to look for the audio on the CD, but in the game folder .
In fact, if I replace the gog files with those of the CD, they look for the audio on the CD. If I don't insert the CD, the video will play without sound, or the game will crash.
So I have to understand where GOG moved the audio so I can replace it.
However the audio is hidden, under another name, otherwise I would have already found it.
Support can't help me .....
