fildan: Answering questions. I got a game from gog as a gift. What the person didn't know, is that i already had an account so he created new and now i'm stuck with 2 accounts.
Why didn't you simply redeem the code in your original account? Do you mean to say that he actually purchased the game instead of simply gifting it to you? By the way, have you downloaded the game yet? If not, then keep it that way. It can only strengthen your arguments.

Morddraig: I wanted to transfer one game (Torchlight 2) from an old account, support answered that it is impossible.

ZFR: Did you include deleting the old account?
I know transferring games is not possible, but maybe if it's definitely a merge i.e. one being deleted, they'd allow it...
Ye, include. Sorry dude.
But also ask the support, maybe they will be help you ;)

Buying a gift creates a gift code... why on earth did your friend make a new account?

QC: Accounts can't be merged, the system probably doesn't support it. GOG is also generally pretty staunch on the one account rule. What I would suggest instead, is that provided you didn't download the game yet: Contact support, get the game refunded or have it removed from the account in exchange for the key, and go and redeem it on the account intended. But, that only works if you didn't download the game yet.
What? Is there a limit of how many GOG accounts one can have?
He simply created the account first and then bought the game. As i said he didn't know i use gog. that's why he gave me an account instead of gift code.

If you've never downloaded the game, then it might be easier i think to convert the game into a gift code. I remember that support can do that sometimes...

Morddraig: No, it isn't possible 100%
I wanted to transfer one game (Torchlight 2) from an old account, support answered that it is impossible.
Of course it's impossible ... because Torchlight 2 doesn't exist yet on gog.com ;)
I've sent the link to this thread to our support team - don't know myself if it's technically possible, or what would be needed to do so, but they'll have the final say in the matter :)
Unfortunately we don't have this kind of functionality implemented, but please write to us on Support, and we'll see what we can figure out in this particular case.
We might get back to you with a delay, though, as such unusual requests take a lot of time, and we need to focus now on the torrent of regular tickets. I hope that's not a problem.
Please send me your Ticket ID via PM, just in case.

And this is how support should be like.
Difficult case, no promises, but people care about their customers.
