After seven years of radio silence, Capcom officially announced a continuation of the classic Mega Man series with Mega Man 11. The game is slated to be released on Steam and Consoles in 2018. My fingers are crossed for a GOG release too!

It looks like such a letdown.

The graphics are horrible and ugly (and I am not a graphics whore by any means), but this art style they went with is awful. This new game looks as bad as Mighty No. 9. The animation is super stiff, the world just comes off as very synthetic and cheap. This game has no ambition whatsoever.

It's just a quick 30th Anniversary money grab.

Still waiting for a true Mega Man game to come out again.

To paraphrase Keiji Inafune, it's better than better than nothing.

The Mega Man X-series will also get a release on PC and newer consoles (PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch).
