I just bought Supreme Commander and tried to play a game with a friend online (his game is on Steam), but while running the game I couldn't select the Matchmaking option in the menu as he wanted (apparently his works). Why is that? Did I have to enable the option somewhere?

Supreme Commander sold on GOG only supports LAN Multiplayer.
