Steam is providing Mad Max movie series.
Since GOG is also in movie business can we expect some mainstream feature films here?
Not some new blockbuster but some old cult classics.
It'd be great, but I think major studios are still a long ways from the kind of mindset that would allow DRM-free digital downloads of their films, even their older ones. I've only ever bought one streaming movie on Amazon, the whole streaming experience was pretty bad, so there's no way I'd waste another dime on another film that way.
No but please get hyped for yet another "ironically shitty indie hipster movie part 9:video game references you guys! humor XD" being added to GOG.

Or another documentary about something very few people care about and even the people that care about it don't care enough about to watch a movie about it...
Is this region based by any chance? Even after reading about this existing I have no idea where on Steam I'm supposed to find the movies :)
How much for the Mad Max game + anthology for you folks?
Boy I'll say that in here prices are skyrocketed.
Steam is streaming only right?
I doubt they'd release it on GOG, the movies are heavily region locked.

€82.40 for the whole thing in Germany.

If you just want to buy single products, it's €9.99 for Mad Max 2 and Mad Max 3, €16.99 for Mad Max: Fury Road, €49.99 for Mad Max (Game). No chance to buy the first movie alone.
Dunno, don't care. Movies are overpriced anyway.
Yep its streaming which is worse than valves psuedo-rental. I wonder if videos still lock the library.

Quite funny, since VALVe was saying that videos were not going to be streamed, but held locally like their games.
Mad Max 2 streaming on Steam for 15$.

ahahahahahahahahaha

Hi Pater. I know it varies from person to person, but is €82 a little too much for a new game + 4 movies for you guys in Germany?
Thanks!

It would be if you just want the first movie, as you can't buy it seperately.

Edit: Can't even find the movies on Steam.
