Malek86: So can anyone try if the GOG version of X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter can be played without a joystick?
Ciris: To quote the game card's system requirements: "Minimum system requirements - Windows: Windows XP/Vista/7/8, 1.8 GHz Processor, 1 GB RAM, 3D graphics card compatible with DirectX 7 (compatible with DirectX 9 recommended), Mouse, Keyboard, Controller/Joystick"

So it seems like you've gotta have one - that, or a controller.
Yeah, I know... but I'd still rather have confirmation, because I remember that my disc release would literally refuse to start unless you had a joystick connected. Seeing as the Windows version of Tie Fighter still has the joystick requirement, I don't know if GOG touched that or if they left it as is. Then again, maybe installing the expansion allowed you to play with the keyboard. I dunno, I never bought that one.

Also, the requirements for X-Wing Alliance say the same thing, but I distinctly remember that the game didn't require a joystick.

In other words, if someone can try, that would be the best :P

Vow. Im humbled with this release. Still waiting for Empire at War though :)
Wouldn't hurt my feelings to see stuff like Outlaws, Afterlife, and a few of the adventure titles after the 48 hours is up.
Publisher of the Year: Disney Interactive
I'll pick up Alliance and GBG because while I have every one of these on disc, those are the two that don't really work off disc anymore (GBG disc has become warped I play the damn thing so much XD). I'm too damn tired right now than to track down all the needed KOTOR 2 mods so I'll wait on that one. :D
More games in 2 days? GOG YOU CRAZY :o
Only Star Wars games in this wave? Who cares about Star Wars? :P

(Note, this was a joke. Seriously, really awesome release. Excited for what games we will get next)
Dammit. Battlefront II is one of my favorite games of all time but there's no mac version.
Daaaamn... X-Wing Alliance and X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter... including Balance of Power... holy shit, holy shit, holy shit... and finally a chance to play Galactic Battlegrounds which I missed back in the day and never saw in stores again. That's two Star Wars games I haven't played even once! Absolutely awesome!

Looking on Kotor 1 & 2, I guess gog can't port them, as the rights for mac and linux versions belongs to Aspyr. I hope the negotiations with them are going fine and we will hopefully see some linux & mac versions in the future.
I think I speak in the name of the community when I say:

I'd go to your office right now and invite everyone to a round of beer.
Must resist... Dark Forces... looks too much like Build game even if isn't.
Galactic Battlegrounds and Dark Forces! NICE!
Also more games in 2 days? Dark Forces 2, plox!
