January 27:
It's been a long weekend for Star Wars™ fans among us. Today marks the return of Lucasfilm on GOG.com: WAVE II, with the final batch of three Star Wars™ titles:

As the Wave II timer ticks down to a zero for the last time, one of the most exciting weeks in the history of GOG.com comes to a close. We couldn't be happier with the series of amazing titles we added to our catalog this week, and we're proud to have teamed up with ©Disney Interactive to finally restore six iconic Star Wars™ games back into the hands of gamers exclusively on GOG.com.

January 22:
The time is now! Lucasfilm strikes back with three more Star Wars™ classics available now on GOG.com! This means the exclusive GOG.com digital premiere of two more spacefaring titles:

January 20:
A long time ago in a galaxy near you, ©Disney Interactive and GOG.com teamed up to bring you the holy grail of classic gaming: six Lucasfilm cult-classics were added to our DRM-free catalog, including three titles which saw their digital premiere on GOG.com. We also made a promise to bring you many more cult-classics in the future and, believe us, we did not forget.

Today, with great pride and joy, we're excited to announce Wave II of Lucasfilm games on GOG.com! Starting right now, six new Star Wars™ classics are available in our DRM-free Lucasfilm/Disney catalog. This includes three amazing titles available, for the first time in digital distribution, exclusively on GOG.com:
Star Wars™: X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter - digital distribution debut, on GOG.com!
Star Wars™: X-Wing Alliance™ - digital distribution debut, on GOG.com!
Star Wars™ Galactic Battlegrounds Saga - digital distribution debut, on GOG.com!

We're also celebrating the DRM-free release of these Star Wars™ games with a 72-hour 20% launch discount:
Star Wars™ Battlefront™ II
Star Wars™: Dark Forces
Star Wars™ Knights of the Old Republic™ II: The Sith Lords™

Just in case you missed your chance last time, you can grab three more Lucasfilm classics for the same 20% discount, until Friday, January 30, at 1:59 PM GMT!
Star Wars™ Knights of the Old Republic™
Indiana Jones® and the Fate of Atlantis™
The Secret of Monkey Island™: Special Edition

Our Lucasfilm/Disney is made that much more impressive today thanks to our team-up with ©Disney Interactive. The 6 new Star Wars™ releases, which include 3 digital premieres exclusively on GOG.com, are barely the beginning. We're not saying more right now, but we know the wait will be worth it for six great reasons - keep watching the front page and stay tuned for more exciting Lucasfilm titles releasing on GOG.com when the timer strikes zero!

LoveShines: I'm so happy to see more LucasArts/LucasFilms games. I was really hoping for Day of the Tentacle though. Perhaps there is still hope and I just have to be patient.
Wave III is on the way...

babark: You'll have to be patient for a while. I'm assuming with the release of the remastered/remade/updated Day of the Tentacle, the original game is not going to be released on its own.
I was not even aware of this, I have no clue why I had not heard about it yet. I only knew about the Grim Fandango remaster. This is even better then.

Because it got cancelled when Disney bought LucasArts.

my poor bank account :(
chances for republic commando?
That's right, GOG. Take all my money! =P Doesn't look like I'll be saving much money this month. Oh well. ;)

Definitely looking forward to giving Galactic Battlegrounds a go. I've never actually played that one. It's also great to see X-Wing Alliance, which is not only the last but best SW space sim as far as I'm concerned. And mother***ing Dark Forces! Hell yeah! :)

I'm definitely curious to see what the next batch of games will include. At least we won't have to wait another three months this time around. =P

It only says that there will be 6 more Star Wars games between Thursday and next week. If there are 6 games per wave, that still leaves 6 non-Star Wars games.
*retrieves wallet from pants and hides it behind back, pulls out blaster*

"Stand back! All of ya's! Or you can bite it just like Greedo did!"

The way I understood it is 6 (in total) Star Wars games that will be released on Thursday and during next week.
Lovely. Plenty of new entries on my Wishlist. But GOG..where are LA's classic adventures?
Hell yeah, this is what people were waiting for all this time! I'm just glad that KotOR2 is here. And Battlefron II. Remember playing that one at some point. I think.

Still don't know if it's the right strategy to release everything at once. People will get depressed once there are no more new Lucasfilm games coming to GOG :D

Thanks again GOG & Disney! =)

I didn't see anything in the email that suggested that there wouldn't be more than just Star Wars games, but I guess we'll see....
Kotor II?

Oh yeah.

Dark Forces?

Oh yeah.

Battlefront II?

OH YEAH!
