I'm really excited to see Lucas games coming to GOG. However, it's slightly disappointing that these games sport no extras (beside the manual). Is it not a well-loved tradition of GOG to include as many bonuses as possible?

Even with Grim Fandango, why the original game is not included?

Thanks!
Why is the original game not included? You assume they had the original game to give away!
GOG can only include goodies they get from the publishers of the games. So if nothing is given to them they can not add stuff.
The mouse, he has tight fists, yes?
why not play the game instead ?

and grim fandango isnt a remake its a remaster its the original game scaled up polished up a bit and made to run on modern systems other then that its what it was in 1998

People do not know the difference, even when it is spelled out in front of them. :P

Lack of goodies seem to be happening more often, especially with new releases :(. I guess devs figure they should get more for that stuff, so it ends up being included in some "gold edition" or something.
There are (a few) games here that don't even have the manual as a download. But most of the games have not only the manual, but many other goodies. And other games get their freebies a while after they are released. I reckon LucasArts (Disney) doesn't want to be branded as "stingy" so I hope we will see those goodies at some point.

That sounds like a plan, just because it sounds fun.
There are probably a lot of legal issues, especially with the music, but you can let https://twitter.com/sethdavis know what you want (respectfully).
I've just found out that there are a few games without any extra free content. Some examples are Metro: Last Light Redux and Mortal Combat series. This not good what of the things I loved from GOG is that EVERY game had goodies, or that's what I thought. I'm aware CD Projeckt try to push devs and publishers to add goodies, and some games have tons of extra content and probably many publishers are allergic to give anything for free but at least a single manual or wallpaper and I'm fine. I think is not that hard.

I've made a request on the wishlist, feel free to vote: https://www.gog.com/wishlist/site/add_free_goodies_to_all_games

Hey, I'm on board with that!

With digital distribution you don't get the disc, or the manual (but PDF manuals have been trending for a while). But you did get a nice box with a pretty picture to adorn your shelve. I think the free goodies fill in this space, with the benefit that they can be completed after the game goes to press.

LucasArts in particular should have been able to generate many goodies. If Disney's experience with GOG works fine, they may be inclined to provide something extra for the fans.
