darthspudius: I remember ripping Rash (was that his name) in two when he went all dark side on me. Damn, that was good.

and you finished it 20 times ?!
Roughly, it is one of those games that is easy to steam role through when you're in the mood.
Hopefully they are still looking into it.
Has there been an update to this?

Sad news about that-

"Hi all,

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, the previous hint about console wars and such has to be put on hold indefinitely."

Could the hint be back on for November 17th or even sooner? megarock58 alerted me to the fact that the PS4 is getting bundles that include vouchers for four classic Star Wars games including Super Star Wars. Presumably you'll be able to buy it separately on the PlayStation digital game store as well. The Disney Interactive guy on Twitter did say they'd look into re-releasing it. I can't imagine what would prevent them from bringing it here as well.

Vote for LucasArts SNES games on the wishlist:

Super Star Wars
Super Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back
Super Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi
Indiana Jones' Greatest Adventures
Zombies Ate My Neighbors
Ghoul Patrol
Big Sky Trooper
Metal Warriors

Whilst it is great to see some old games in consideration, it concerns me a bit. I would not mind if they released a SNES pack of games, however I am certainly not in favour of each one being released separately, especially with the trend for increase in pricing each release which seems to haappen (Anno was nearly £8). Even at £3 each thats £24, far more than 6 very old games are worth. I would far rather see a SNES collection for £10-£15 containing all the SNES games - there have been releases over the years for Spectrum Collections and such like.

It seems they are bringing the Racer sequel to the PS4. Does it mean we can expect a digital release of the first game as well? On GOG? With a discount? Pretty please?
I'm a bit iffy about SNES games on GOG, mostly because there's so many SNES emulators out there, of varying quality and of course depending on your taste. I personally use Higan because it's the most accurate emulation I'm aware of. What would be terrible is if these games came to GOG but they used some homebrew emulation the people at Disney/LF cooked up, which would almost definitely be worse than all the emulators out there that have been under development for years by dedicated fans.

Well, it wouldn't be as bad as ZSNES...

Even if that doesn't pan out to be what I hope it is, I jump on the occasion to salute your tireless efforts, Barry, to bring this place to become even better than what it hoped to be.

But... but how?! :D
2015 is a curious year: we're seeing psx/psone games being released on Steam, Snes games on the ps4, nes games on the xbone one and so on :P
It's a personal dream coming true, no joke.
BTW, in case you missed it, they've also been looking into re-releases of the Virgin Interactive developed Disney platformers:

Pretty much my concerns as well, no one but Byuu and Blargg know how to do SNES emulation justice.

Also as a PSA to everyone here: Friends don't let friends use ZSNES.

From the link I posted above: "The bundle also includes Star Wars Battlefront Deluxe Edition, as well as a digital voucher to download four classic Star Wars titles – Super Star Wars, Star Wars: Racer Revenge, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter and Star Wars Bounty Hunter – playable for the first time on PS4, and sporting enhanced graphics and Trophy support."

It could be that they've created an enhanced port of Super Star Wars rather than using emulation.

May I ask what the issue is with Znes, don't remember seeing anything news wise going around?
