Install service pack 1.

And yes, it is easy, download the iso from m$ website, load it to Daemon tools and install. It does not have the Win10 nagging, just make sure to only install SP1, then turn off updates for the time being.

that's not an option. i need another solution. maybe installer patch to skip sp1 checking or such
I'm quite sure it is possible to run galaxy even on a cuckoo clock, with enough time and resources, though I didn't try it personally. Check this link
no clue if this work to be honest..

Why? I am not sure why this huge anti SP1 thing has arisen. SP1 is not in any way tied to any Win10 thing, it really is a final set of updates long before any of that was even created. You don't even need to use the updater, I have my SP1 on a CD totally net exempt.

As for Galaxy, its needs a C++ update which is included in SP1, you can install that separately, but why bother, get the benefits of the only update to Win7 whilst Win7 is still an option.

SP1 fucks up my whole system to a point that windows will not start anymore after the sp1 update, for starters
