I know it doesnt specifically list the reason why and the weak reason being mentioned so far is something stupid that dont make sense to remove them here. the real reason is obviously being all these 'protect the children' stuff.
Why would u delist a game on one platform because of dev disputes, come on now, we all know the real reason why here and I wonder as to why one dev suddenly decided to wage war against the other half in these times, I have my own theories..

Or whatever the reason was in this case, but its not hard to guess why in this case, specially with Inside as it has story content that comes awfully close to real life right now and both revolve around GASP children.
In this case its honestly stupid, they arent even in the nsfw category.
I fear this wont be the only ones, its not just gore and nudity being threatened, its everything that has 'dangerous' themes, which Inside def does to them.

Stand ur ground, stop being bullied into removing games for our entertainment simply b/c they contain things a certain group of ppl deem threatening to their agenda.
@GOG, Steam etc, stand united and say no The more u submit the darker times we are headed into.
Also, can u for gods sake pls make a notification system that lets us know when games are removed? Pls? ;(
I have them from my steam days but I was planning to buy them here soon when on a bit of sale but now I cant :(
I would have loved to own them here on GOG, but I dont check the forums every day and randomly saw it in a post today;(

I am not angry with GOG, they are not to blame for all this.
Im angry and generally upset and freaking out a bit too over what is happening to our games, its not their fault and they are obviously sad and stressing out about this stuff, same as other platforms are too.
But we all have a role to play in this and it starts with saying no and using common sense and reason.

Might I suggest u stop censoring free speech and let US decide what we want to see, think and believe, and that we put the responsibility for what our children watch and play and use their online time for BACK ON THE PARENTS as it belong?
Thats not some groups, or the governtments job, it is called PARENTING and for adults its called being an adult and also FREE SPEECH and FREE CHOICE over what we buy.
The solution is to have working filters and parents who do their job as parents. Not ID checks or facial scans, or removing the games entirely.

BTW.
It doesnt take a phd to predict what will happen in real life very soon and onwards when all the other games in the nudity and nsfw,gore and violence is removed.
When the games you and me, kids and teenagers, and adults with social and or mental issues and or depravities who USE games, porn, movies, as an outlet for their fantasies, to then not have access to them and are then forced out into the real world to seek the outlet they need???
Can these clever ppl who claim to want to protect our children not see what this will expose them to more than they alr are, also from facial scans in certain games now that will place them on a market for the wicked!!
Think about this and use ur heads ppl!

If u REALLY care about the children, b/c this is NOT these reason they claim is really about and we alll now it, if u REALLY care, u will absolutely NOT remove these games , both games like Limbo who GASP is about 2 children, or nsfw games etc b/c it WILL increase real life violence, physical assaults and sexual assaults.

Dont check ur reason at the door and always stand up for what is right and what threatens ur freedom to choose and information they dont want us to see.

One thing GOG, Steam, devs etc CAN do to combat this effectively, is find proffesionals who work with sexual predators, rape victims etc, find any news paper and station and organisations around these subjects who will take ur statements on the natural outcomes and repercusions for removing nsfw and porn from OUR wallets will be an increase in rape and assaults and anger management incidents b/c these ppl no longer have access to their outlets and will seek them elsewhere.
Trust me, removing a certain group of ppls access to the nsfw/porn games will do far far more harm to our kids, than leaving them be where they can use that instead of our children!
Its the parents job to monitor our kids, no one elses.

Sry for rant but this legit made me so sad and ruined my evening to log on and see.
I even claimed the free coupon for all those nsfw games here + the Postal game, eve tho I never play such games, simply b/c whats happening is wrong and I will damn well sit down and play whatever this is now just because I CAN lol! xD

PS @GOG can u start accepeting silver, gold, and praise as payment options? That would solve everything and end all wars!

Limbo and Inside are being delisted due to a contractual spat between the developers of the game. Basically a divorce kind of situation, very ugly.

Also to the matter of the rest of your rant, not touching it. We already know what the problem is, but toppling the system would take some absolute synergy and/or violence that most aren't willing to commit to.

No, the devpub did. GOG is required to follow the publisher's wishes. I'm not aware of anything new which would realistically threaten these two titles enough for the devpub to delist them. The official line is enough for me to believe - disagreements between staff/owners and the ensuing legal ruckus causing delistings tends to be reasonably common in the industry. LIMBO features a boy trying to find his sister in the spirit realm. It has zero to do with NSFW content, and features a bit of animated violence, and is rated appropriately for it. The story itself was designed minimalist so the player can make up their own minds what they think the imagery means.
INSIDE is a young man. I'm not aware of the plot having a specific ironclad meaning - yet again I believe it's more what the player decides it really is about... in fact I'm not certain how you think this game relates to real life right now, unless turning into a rolling multiple human fleshball and destroying a lab complex is something which has actually happened. The violence is back but this time it's definitely more mature and definitely not at all to do with violence or abuse specifically towards children.

I dunno, man, I think you're reading too much into these two delistings. Given time, and if they sort out the legal issue, it may return. Given its popularity, I tend to think it will return eventually in one form or another.

Thats the thing tho, it doesnt have to be only nsfw anymore, they are alr expanding and now its anything that has children in it that also sends or even hints at a message they dont like, which Inside def does. Or things another mentioned above.
Whether thats linked to the rest we can only guess at, but its a post about both things, those 2 games and also the nsfw and 'unsafe' categories:)

Never said nor do I believe those 2 games is nsfw btw, tho I can see how they would love to label them as such, b/c they do have children and certain hush hush topics thats being censored these days.

You're lumping together things that have absolutely nothing in common. The delisting of Limbo and Inside is quite clearly a result of the very public legal dispute between the devs, you can easily find all the info about that, so it's likely a matter of which of them signed the deal with GOG and/or when it came up for renegotiation. May also be that DRM-free doesn't fit their recent efforts to protect their trademarks and copyrights.

This is why you can't look at what is happening in schools. Someone else is deciding what is "best" for your kid.

GoG can not life from praising them alone and silver and gold is just not practical if someone is only buying very minor stuff with low value.

Compared to a few games... silver and gold got a super high value. If you are planing to buy 100 000+ gamekeys in order to let GOG hand it out to the gamers as a time and amount-limited giveaway, then i am pretty sure GOG would be open-minded getting your 1 kg gold-ingots in exchange. You simply will have to "scale up" your trade this way.

If you are more "egoistic" then you may demand ANY game GOG got to offer in their store transferred to your account, which is perhaps around 6000 games, and they may accept a gold ingot in exchange. Simply scale up your trading if you want to use super pricey "payment options".

The praise, gold and silver was a joke guys xD

Tho the world severely need to return to this currency form if we want our freedom back but alas, couldnt work as it is now obviously:)
