It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

The objet of this forum discution is standalone installer that need a patch to be up to date.
If the standalone installer is already up to date, no patch is needed.
It's important for offline backup because you can ignore patch and save hdd space.

Automatic download tool (lgogdownloader or other) can check that you have latest installer. But they can't tell you to download a patch because GOG don't care to update standalone installer and only make a separate patch.

Yes indeed, I tend to ignore patches when I use gogrepo to back up my kits (this because patches take up over 100GB of space). However I did find these were I'm not sure they have the patch included.

Scanner sombre
exec: setup_scanner_sombre_4212017_(11551).exe
patch: setup_scanner_sombre_9142017_(15031).exe <= full installer VR Compatibility Update [BETA BUILD]
Standalone installer version 15031 if officially a patch for GOG (en1patch1 & en1patch2).

Super Time Force Ultra
exec: setup_super_time_force_ultra_2.0.0.1.exe
patch: patch_super_time_force_ultra_2.0.1.2.exe

Kygonn:
Thanks, I missed Scanner Sombre and I don't have Super Time Force Ultra. I'll also update the rest of the OP with your format.
edit: Scanner Sombre does not qualify as the VR update is a separate installer, not a patch

Added Hitman Blood Money. At some point it had a package with patch applied now package and patch are reverted to separate files
Thank you for this thread.
I use gogrepo with "-skipfiles patch_*" to avoid a ton of old hotfixes, but then these extra ones would be missed.

Yes, same for me, that's why it's annoying. I opened a ticket for one of them, but GOG simply ignored it.

Can you try reopening the ticket, since the Cyberpunk chaos is over now?

Or maybe I could just create a new one pointing to this.

Save yourself the effort:
“Use galaxy, our completely optional client”

It’s part of a far wider set of issues with the whole offline installers:
https://www.gog.com/forum/general/provide_a_full_and_complete_changelogged_download_system
Including, but not limited to: changelogs missing or incomplete or incomprehensible, missing patches, no ability to download old versions (which may work better/have more content).
With the galaxification of offline installers, both in the way the installer is designed, and the extra files it includes, it means having the latest installer is probably not the best option. Pre galaxification installers are smaller, and do not have extra requirements to be used, which prevents use of tools like gogrepo.
Sigh :\

Btw, while updating with gogrepo, I noticed also this one (but needs confirmation):

setup_raiden_legacy_1.0_(18590).exe] -- Raiden Legacy version: 1.0
patch_raiden_legacy_2.0.1.7.exe] -- Universal update version: 2.0.1

EDIT: nvm, I see that it was already addressed in post 12 -_-'
