I remember when this had its kickstarter campaign and it looked it wasn't going to make it. I'm glad they managed to release the first part. It looks like they hope to be funding future developing with the sales of the first act of the game, like Broken Age. I wish them good luck! Hopefully this gets a GOG release when it's completed.

Yeah, it looks like they want to keep cake and eat it to build marketing. Calling watermarking drm-free is not really correct, its like a serial number and your name next to it.
It could easily backfire and what are they going to do, if someone from far far location under a rock starts to distribute their work? Completely useless and its sad that they descended to this.

Speaking of illegal distribution, I don't know if its legal to build off their previous work - the MISERY mod. Because people did. And great things happened, like Call of Misery.

Personally I'm not opposed to watermarking, as long as company is upfront.
Of course to be effective, watermarking will require the company to take sufficient details from you to prove your identity, which may not be so acceptable.

Watermarking is part of DRM if user information is embedded, or part of copyright - if company information is embedded. In this case, its DRM for the simple reason - they are fingerprinting, as its a hidden key that contains your data.

Wither one likes it or not, was not touched by my message. Its that they clearly have a DRM form there and mark it as DRM-free at same time.

I have made my descision. Though I really like Stalker and Metro, I would never support such a drm bullshit. For mme, it is even worse when someone uses drm and says they don't have drm. Will completly ignore it and hope they go bankrupt.

Lets hope they will change this in the future or something cause now I can see the reason and I removed it from my computer, I just feel so bad after supporting this thing and finding out about it now... should have did way more research on it but man, Caught off guard on this one. Can you show me where you found this out? I been looking and can't seem to find the source to this. or I am just really blind and it's in front of me.
