The problem is, I think just about everyone has already thought of this solution and approves of the concept, but once again it comes down to a single basic obstacle: costs. Most communities probably can't afford building another additional bathroom/toilet room in every major public building. Or at least they come up with excuses, so they can use that money elsewhere. Still it seems like a logical solution to me, not just for privacy and safety reasons, but also because most small kids probably have trouble trying to use "adult sized" toilet rooms.

We are heading towards events that won't be changeable for a very, very long time. The luxury of "ignorance" won't be valid excuse.
Now, does anyone here remember your first day of school? How scared you were, how strange everything was?
I can imagine a little girl going into the toilet by herself. There'll be women there, taking care of their business, sure. But she knows they're just bigger versions of herself.
Now imagines that instead, she sees a couple of men pretending to be trans just to ogle at women while playing pocket billiards.
I'm sure the little girl will just take all that in stride. After all, she's got enough emotional maturity at age 5.

As far as I am Aware, the new toilet laws ban trans-gender people using toilets that are not related to birth gender. I didn't think there were laws created that gave them the right to use toilets based on identified gender.
Since the only laws I knew of where those banning trans-gender people, I assumed it was in one of those states this assault took place.
Though I have no idea how a law banning a male-to-female person using a female toilet would have stopped the man walking into the ladies. A law stopping people from walking on the grass isn't going to stop a person cutting over the park to break into a house.

Or, perhaps, she tries to use the girl's room (after all, she *is* a girl, so that is the room she should use, right?), only to be told she isn't allowed to. Why should she be singled out, when her female peers have no such restrictions about going to that restroom? Why shouldn't she be allowed to go to the same restroom that her female friends use?

And it was a restaurant. If the laws weren't in place, I'm sure anyone, staff or customers, would've raised a concern.
Geddit now?
How do you figure I'm transphobic from there? Or is "transphobic" the new "racist", that you just throw at people regardless of the issue they're discussing, just because they disagree with YOUR particular points of view?
No, I'm pretty sure there are paedophiles in this community, as there is everywhere else & they're sniping me because no one will know who did it.
You see, that's what paedophiles are. Craven cowards who lurk & slither in shadows like the slimy things they are.

Any law allowing transgender people to use whatever bathroom they feel comfortable with doesn't endanger children. Criminals endanger children.
I almost did. Instead, I made a concerned noise, quietly warning you that this is probably a thread populated by people who get offended way too easily.
(Pedophilia isn't funny. Jokes about pedophilia are.)
(I should stay away from these kinds of topics.)
