I'm in a 5E D&D group, and because of my Disability claim not being approved yet.....I've got no money. But I still wanna give them something for the holidays.

They're all gamers (both tabletop and online), and I know I can gift them the free games on GOG, but what else is there I could gift them that's free? Maybe something RPG related or WOW related? Anything I can point them to online would be great.

Thanks in advance.
Giveaway of the Day?
Hmmm might have been better to ask in one of the clearinghouse threads where a lot of extra copies of said games would be available. Ask for like 5 copies for that purpose.

Another option is some uber cheap games that are good. I have a few copies of games that were free giveaways that i already had.

Heh, too bad the old free copies of Fallout 1,2,Tactics from interplay aren't around/valid anymore...

I don't know how well that gifting part goes, but simply finding free games is easy.

If you are looking for adventure games, here you will find a thousand or two, with varying quality, but the best ones being very good:

http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk

Also, you might want to check bundles, like Groupees:

http://groupees.com

You can get their bundles as cheap as a dollar or two at best, each bundle has many games, and in most cases you can actually gift those games and their codes separately. They even have an internal gifting and trading system.

EDIT TO ADD:
You can also check some forums online. There are at least four different free games forums on Reddit, and plenty of more elsewhere. There you can find information about all kinds of giveaways. There is always some giveaway going on somewhere, no matter which day you check.

There are a few fan-made remakes of classic adventure games still out there online. AGDI released King's Quest I and II, and QFG2 VGA remakes. Infamous Adventures released a King's Quest III and Space Quest 2 VGA remake (sorry if I got these all mixed up though). All these were made using the AGS engine. Herionne's Quest: Ragnarok (a standalone adventure game) was free on steam (I think it still might be).

There are two King's Quest III remakes, the other one is from AGDI.

Well that's interesting. Must have slipped my radar. I think I played the Infamous Adventures one, as at the time there wasn't an alternative. This AGDI one needs a playthrough at least!

These are often looked over or missed by some gamers though. But these aren't buggy and graphically poor like many of similar age & pedigree. These are professional and beautiful. Worth the time to play through them.

OpenTTD (open source Transport Tycoon Deluxe).
These probably won't interest grown-ups some good old games here, especially Speedy Blupi 1 and 2 for kids - http://blupi.org/

Hamumu games like Supreme with Cheese and Loonyland 2 Winter Woods are more challenging and can be enjoyed by adults - http://hamumu.com/games.php
Something like Battle for Wesnoth should definitely appeal to tabletop gamers. Then again, it's been around for so long, it's likely they know about this one already. *shrug*
