He'll live on in those of us who remember his work; those of us who are logical and find things fascinating.

Yeah he will. He'll live on in those of us who know his work and love it as well as own things he was in. A good actor taken before his time (in many people's opinions despite his age)

This was incredibly sad news. Leonard Nimoy truly was a sci-fi icon. He will be forever remembered as Spock, but also for his other sci-fi characters like William Bell from Fringe. LLAP.

I'm surprised he never appeared in any Stargate episodes.

The original Star Trek was something I grew up with, and Bones (Deforest Kelly) and Spock (Nimoy) were major heroes for me as a kid. He's been ill a long while, so this wasn't unexpected, but it was very sad. Loved the work he did in the latest Star Trek stuff working with the 'young' Spock. Sorry there can't be any more of that, but at least he gave us all plenty that is worth remembering. RIP

I did not listen/watch any news today so when I read the thread title I let out a loud expletive. I already miss him.

Our little tribute. I just got home from work and heard the news. It always hurts to loose someone you admired so much. :( Meh!
