Honestly, I picked that up here. XD My hand to god people kept stopping me when I said "system" or "puter" and said "Oh you mean your OS." So I started using it. :P I had no idea there were other people who thought it sounded as stupid as I do.

I'm not sure about it either, but when you check the system requirements for games right here on GOG, they use "OS" to refer to the system operating software, as in Windows, OSX, Linux etc.

The same reason why I have a lego man silicone ice cube tray.

BTW Sports fans, they make Legos of your favorite players now, at least for hockey and baseball. I would imagine some football clubs over in Europe are in on that too.

Really? The only ones I've seen were by sombody other than LEGO, they seemed to be compatible, but they aren't techically LEGO brand bricks.

Yeah you make a point, there is a "OYO" out there that I didn't even notice, however there is some Lego stuff. I just found this little guy on Amazon. Must be a collectors item because when was the last time Argentina won anything? :P

Hmmm... I can't say i love or hate legos. As a child my grandparents had a box of legos and i played with them, made stuff, saw how a really tall tower wouldn't stay up very well with a single long stack of 4x4 blocks or 1x1, etc. But beyond making very basic configurations of ships, it was a waste of time. Hey i was 6 at the time :P

I never got into the dozens of different sets, castles, dragons, space ships, lord of the rings, superman or other sets where you can make with the blueprints they give you, so i guess playing with legos totals to... let's see..... maybe 10 hours of my life?

Because American sucks?

To me, LEGOs are awesome & the shows that I've seen didn't take themselves too seriously though I have yet to play a LEGO brand game (but Batman is on my GOG shelf) & real Lego sets of various styles are on the shelves in my room

I'm a big fan of real Lego, having started to play with them with the very first "space" sets, the one that were only in very basic colors, not all those flashy things. Nevertheless, I love Legos... but i would never put the amount of money required to buy the IP-themed Legos, like Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter.

So I was amused when I saw there were Lego games. The first I ever played was the Lord of the Rings one, I think. And I had an absolute blast!! The way to deconstruct things to build other things was amazing, plus the tongue-in-cheeks humor, everything clicked right!

So I started to play the other Lego games. I haven't played the oldest ones (Satr Wars - because i don't really like Star Wars - or Indiana Jones) but the only ones that were a letdown were the first Batman (awful maniability) and the Harry Potter ones on Vita (so many cut content from the PC version it doesn't make sense anymore!!).

But the best suprise was with the Lego - The Movie - The Game (isn't that awfully meta??). I played it before watching the movie and I had a total blast!!

The LEGO titles aren't going to be sweeping awards, but they’re well-made, very polished, and possibly the best co-op father-son bonding experience to ever grace the world of gaming.

Will have to remember that when I'll have kids.

Lego was one of my favourite games as a kid. I played with them every single day, trying to build stuff all the time etc. At other times i used them to remake popular scenes from movies like Star Wars and many others.. As for the video games, they're fun too, not in the same way as the real thing of course but - at least those titles i played - are very nice games, just sit back with a controller and enjoy the ride!
...and keep an eye on them while playing. As a kid, i nearly got drowned quite a few times with all those little pieces when i was trying to seperate with my teeth. ;-)
