Might be of interest to some; a charming and neat turnbased fantasy strategy game released across mobile and PC platforms with a one-purchase all systems approach (one buy and once you've registered with the optional email component you can access your game on mobile and PC - or just play it on PC) .

This is a KS for their DLC and is already FUNDED but with a few more people joining in will push to add a second new faction to the game taking them to 5 full factions in the game. The KS has a copy of the game in the second teir at $25 which you get right at the end of the KS which is only in a few hours so not much waiting. It's also got a few bits of its core game free on Steam (you buy the "free" game and then you would otherwise get the full game like you would a DLC - a try before you buy approach to release which acts like a Demo). So you can always try it on steam for a bit and get a feel and then jump into the KS
Was interested up to the point i found this was an expansion to a game thats not even available here?

At this point in time yes though I'm sure with continued interest it might happen one day - the developers have already shown that they are quite open to a less DRM built system by making their game more open access acrosss mobile and pc platforms. I suspect the title is niche enough that thus far they've focused on steam as the market leader and GOG hasn't come up yet nor has there been enough pressure from backers/fans/buyers to push the developers for a GOG release.
A kickstarter, to do an Expansion to a PC/iOS game (not for the game). Interesting...

If the game is on phones/tablets, shouldn't it already be generating revenue? $2,500 is a little low of a request. I mean, unless all they needed was artwork to be drawn and they just wanted to get the work done faster vs waiting...

I really don't know. Feels like a response to Hearthstone.

Far as I know its on PC now and its coming soon to iOS and the rest. So yes its generating income but my view is the company hasn't got enough income to run totally without additonal funding (which is likely why it also has limited advertising - again a result of limited funding).
25$ for this "DLC" and basegame ^^ - well that's very optimistic in my opinion. Also advertising a multiplayer when at least in the pc version right now there is 3 players playing it right now and the 24h peak was 11 ^^. Also regarding that "owners" of steam - the median "total" Playtime is 1,1 hours. So seems like people who bough/got the game aint playing it at all ^^. Looking at the gameplay videos i can't find any redeeming factor for this game - i neither see innovative gameplay nor an outstanding artdesign (neither i'm seeing a bad game either though - art design and gameplay seems okish but not on the scale that i subjectively would value the game anyway near it's given price tag)
