Hello Guys- merry christmas to all of you.

I just recently got to know this site and i think playing those "Good old Games" (Hehe) could be a lot of fun. So i created an account and bought one of my all time favourites "Legend of Kyrandia book one".

I got really excited and installed it.

But then a problem occured.
My Setup includes two monitors and after i started the game it totally fucked up the resulution and stuff. For some reason it even got strechted out to my 2nd monitor.

So is there any chance to play those old games on high resolution monitors?

Pls let me know if someone got the same issue.
The Kyrandia subforum: www.gog.com/forum/legend_of_kyrandia_series.

I have read elsewhere that having more than one monitor screws up several old games.

OH, and welcome to GOG! :-)

According to its product page it runs via ScummVM, so it should be possible to try running it in windowed mode.

http://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php/User_Manual/Configuring_ScummVM
Unfortunately, ScummVM's graphics options are pretty bare-bones, at least compared to something like Dosbox, and configuration is kind of a pain in the ass if you don't have access to ScummVM's main menu, which is the case in GOG's setup (not their fault, really, although they could have added a configuration tool like they do with Dosbox).

The easiest thing you could try is to use the in-game hotkeys to change the game's scaling factor from 2x to 3x: pressing "CTRL", "ALT" and "+" at the same time increases the factor; using "-" decreases it.

"ALT" and "ENTER" toggles fullscreen mode on or off.
