i was shocked today. Unknowingly bought Witcher 3(GOTY edition) from humble bundle, only to realise that it's a GOG key, not a steam key.
i was taken aback, totally unaware.
Oh well. A $35 price, but got me learning these aspects :
1. check before purchase
2. learnt about the existence of GOG


After discovering and exploring, i feel that GOG isn't bad at all.

Hope one day games in GOG can be transferred to Steam as well, and not just one way(Steam games can be transferred to GOG by linking Steam account to GOG)

Maybe it's because I have already activated the product on GOG, or maybe it only works for the expansion packs. i bought the Witcher 3 GOTY edition.

I don't know, but maybe this part in red could be the answer:

Code exchange works only for the GOG.com game codes contained in the boxed Limited Edition of both Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions. It won't work for other versions of expansions nor with the base game codes.

I think I'm generally going to make a thread of threads to avoid to keep track of all these threads - there are too many of them, it's like space junk!
