Hello. I downloaded The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt GOTY, but it does not launch. I have no .exe program in my installation folder. I contacted support on GOG but they didnt give me any anwser resolving my issue. What can i do? When i click the shortcut on my desktop it only takes me to my installation folder.

The game exec is actually in the X64 directory or what ever. For example:

C:\GOG Games\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt GOTY\bin\x64

Has you antivirus quarantined it? That’s what it sounds like. The installer will run, showing a progress bar (assuming you downloaded offline installers) and when done the shortcut on the desktop will launch it. Sometimes however AV software thinks a file is a virus (you will get this a lot with hacked games) and remove it. You should be able to go into AV, show recent history where it will say the exe is removed, and you can restore it from there. Then get yourself a decent AV program :o)
I'd like to know where the OP downloaded the game from, considering that he has 0 games in his account. Even if he transferred the game from steam or other platform it'd still appear as "owned" on the GOG Library.

Ah yes, didn’t check. Obvious spam pirate account, no wonder the exe was removed by virus checker!
I had trouble with another GOG game, but got lots of flack from other posters because there was 0 owned games for me. It was downloaded by another person and delivered to me on 9 disks instead of gifting the game to me. Then I had to transfer all those files to my hd in order to install G3 GOTY.
Arr, quite an audacious matey to ask the legit vendor for help.

You got lots of flack because that's against the terms of use: https://support.gog.com/hc/en-us/articles/212184489-Can-I-share-games-with-others-?product=gog

It's the same situation. You were given a pirate copy.
Technically you're correct. But the person is not a gamer. He bought and downloaded, then gave it to me. I reimbursed him. I guess he missed the gift option. Now that I'm set up to buy the games myself, I have a ton of them to download from GOG.
