idbeholdME: As for the difficulty, I remember having a much harder time when I first played ED. When I did my DC run, I steamrolled everything so much it wasn't even funny. By the 2nd half of the main game (before even starting Flames of Vengeance) I was an OP god that couldn't be touched. The game seemed overall much easier, but can't really tell you the exact differences off the top of my head. But I can safely say that some enemy placements and balancing were definitely changed.

The biggest changes were probably done with Flying Fortresses. Aerial combat was made very easy. There were for example anti-dragon batteries in the Flying Fortresses that got removed. Conquering the fortresses used to be quite a challenging task. In DC, it felt more like a tedious chore to do before finishing the game.
I see. Shame then that Larian doesn't distribute the original version at least as a bonus separate download.
Is there any catch? Or I'm missing something? Or the content is really same for different money?

D: OS 2 + Divine Ascension DLC = roughly 24$
D: OS 2 - Divine Edition = roughly 33$

And quite rightfully so, if only it can start playing games, to make my life easier ...
That'd be beginning of a true friendship.

Definitely would be nice. Even more so if it included the original, pre-DKS Flames of Vengeance too.

Yeah, it's cheaper to buy the game and its DLC separately. It's also the same case on Steam. I have no idea why Larian is doing this.
Divine Divinity > Diablo DD alone is worth the price of admission, if I did not have the near entirety of LS collections I would definitely snag all titles in this sale!
Are DoS I and II on Gog still bundled with the larian launcher crap ?
Is D:OS 2 worth getting, and in particular, is it worth the massive download/install size?

Also:
* What's the level cap, and what level are you expected to reach around endgame?
* How long is the game?
* Is there a good, interesting selection of healing abilities?

Sale math is like Steiner math. Gotta have fun with it.
Pain to run some older games on windows 11 but got it working in the end and enjoying the heck out of it. Just beware you will have to do some tinkering to get it work.
