We’d like to inform you that, due to expiring licensing rights, Kyn will be delisted from our catalog on Thursday, August 4th, 3 PM UTC.

For everyone who purchased these titles prior to delisting, they will remain in their GOG library.
Wish I could pay the difference to upgrade to the Deluxe Edition.
It's a miracle, doc, you've cured my blindness :P... I could clearly see two delisting posts today.
Thank you to whoever submitted the game page for this game to archive.org today! I own the game, but have never played it yet, and wanted to refresh my memory based on this delisting announcement. Sadly I was just too late - so the - one and only - archive.org snapshot from today is greatly appreciated!

@gog: I realize you get this request every so often, but is there any chance you could once again reconsider if there's any way to keep game pages for delisted games around in any form? Even just completely inaccessible to anyone but owners of the game would still be a great boon...

Also see the community wishlist entry: Keep store page for removed games (with disabled purchasing)

Got to say this is something i'd like to see, and something I wish Steam would do as well. There's no reason not to keep the store pages up just disable purchasing it.
Yeah, GOG, please keep the store pages for delisted games. Often times there are useful reviews there.

I'll second this. Just remove the purchase option, that should satisfy the developer/publisher too I would think.

This would be great
If they did keep delisted store pages they should make it a separate archive so it won't trick people into thinking they can still be bought if they find them through search engines.

Rather than just showing the price in the search result they could just say unavailable in the same box. No need to archive them.

Edit: Search engines such as Google though firstly who cares, secondly they search by tags anyway so its just a matter for GOG to hide the page, thirdly there are so many other websites with dead links or sites that don't work anyway clicking one link to be shown you cant buy the game here is nothing. You are overthinking it.

Ugh! Missed it.

Had Kyn suggested to me a few days ago in a thread. Was looking for a sale...

... and...

... nope. *sigh*

Better yet, just make them work like unlisted videos on YouTube: reachable via direct link (which, in GOG's case, would include links from the library of a user who owns a copy), but won't show up in on-site search results. (I mean, they should obviously still show "unavailable" or similar in place of a price, too.)

That works as well. Tbh I just wished they kept the store pages, as its handy for publisher and developer info when I build my own installers from GOG's.

Eh, the listed info on store pages for things like release date, developer and even publisher are kind of hit or miss, especially for re-releases of old games. I've learned that if I want something close to the truth in those cases, I need to do the research myself. But keeping store pages for delisted products public is certainly important for user reviews in particular, as well as for easy access to system requirements for owners.

Oh release date certainly is, but I'm no that bothered about publisher and developer I just take them from GOG as its easier than running a general search.
