Hi, folks.

I have the Borderless Gaming app on Steam, and have managed to make it work with many an old game in the past without issue. I'm big on multitasking with a dual monitor setup - I change my music, reply to chat messages, etc., so the ability to alt-tab out of the game without it minimizing and potentially crashing is huge to me. I go out of my way to implement patches and other fixes to make this happen.

However, with KOTOR I and II I can't seem to get it to work. I've tried the widescreen patch, as well as the Flawless Widescreen program, but to no avail. I can get the game to run in 1080p (1920x1080p, specifically) just fine, but I can't get it to run properly as a borderless window.

Anyone had more luck than me in this regard? If so, what did you do to make it work? Is there a program/patch I'm missing that totally fixes this, or is the game just too old at this point?

Thanks!

Try disable auto-maximize or set no size change from the favorites list.
I also tried everything I could think of, but I just could not get it to work for KotoR 1 (Steam version). I haven't tried KotoR 2 yet.

No dice, sadly. :( Borderless window seems to work in any other resolution except my actual monitor resolution (1920x1080) for some reason. It's very bizarre.

Although, that's helpful to know - I didn't know about the auto-maximize/no size change settings in the Favorites menu. That could come in handy later.
Absolutely no issue with borderless windows here, thanks to Openbox (you can disable window decoration for all windows, or specific applications) and WINE virtual desktops.

(posting links to GOG forums is an awful mess)

The same applies to Neverwinter Nights. Seems to be common for Bioware games of this era.
