So I just finished the awesome show that is Psych. Anyone got any recommendations for a similar/equally hilarious show? I should point out two things: 1. I started Psych right after the excelkent Parks & Recreation. 2. I have access to the US Netflix.

Yay, Psych, will have to finish watching it one day, really enjoyed the first two or three seasons. Anyway, don't know if it's on Netflix currently but I love Community. Really odd combo of heartwarming and downright evil. The newest season sucks from what I've seen so far but at least the early seasons with Chevy Chase were hilarious. Quickly became one of my favourite comedy shows.

Also I haven't watched Parks & Recreation yet but from what I've read and heard it's quite dead pan so you might wanna check out Peep Show starring David Mitchell and Robert Webb. Again, don't know or care about its availability on Netflix.

Community is something I have seen mentioned often, I should check it out.

Some preferences:

1. Something that makes you laugh constantly.
2. Something that tends to cheer you up/put you in a better mood.
3. Something with 4+ seasons.
4. Something that has ended(preferably in a good way), so I can watch it all on Netflix.

Monk?

I had a recommendation but seeing what you're looking for, those recommendations are out the window :P

I have seen some episodes of Monk years back and quite enjoyed it, if I find out on Netflix I will start it up.

10 Seasons of Friends, awesome show

Married with Childen, although I don't think you can get it on Netflix.

Also see that Chuck is on there, another good show. Has 5 seasons.

So I ended up watching Californication...really enjoying it so far but it is a bit dark at times. Not exactly a Psych replacement in the cheering up department. Thanks for the recommendations so far :)

It's not remotely close to 4 seasons, but you should check out Better Off Ted. Ridiculously funny, laugh til you cry show, IMHO.

Eureka is a fun scifi show set in a modern day town which has science and technology a few generations ahead of the rest of the world. Chaos usually ensues and it has a lot of comedic moments in it too. I quite loved Psych as well, nothing can quite take its place, but I will 'wait for iiiiiiit' as Shawn would say.
