I finished it today after 60 hours of gameplay (well invested!)
Has anyone else here played it?

I absolutely loved the story of this game, the dualism between the humans and the Deimos and the topic of free will and exploitation of scarce ressources and the consequences the distinct cultures have to face.
And I didn't find it to be the stereotypical good vs evil story. Every character had his/her story and a mostly troubled past.
The character and environment design was really impressive and rich in variety.
Darc and Delma were my favorite characters, I liked their interactions between eachother and the rough past Darc went through was very interesting.
But I also loved Camellia and her eccentric aspiration after beauty.
I always wanted to know how the story would go on, I experience this very rarely in games, last time I had that steady urge to play further was in Planescape and Arcanum.
Normally I don't like JRPG's at all, I tried Final Fantasy, Grandia, Breath of Fire, Legend of Legaia and I always found me bored and unnerved of story and battlesystem so I hadn't high hopes about this game.
Well it really managed to surprise me.
The battles could be a bit dull but there weren't too many animations and it's easy to learn, though I never learned how to flee in a battle...

So I post this because I know noone who played it and I just want to hear some other comments on the game and maybe someone knows how this part is connected to the other Arc the Lad games?
