Wow a million times. To be honest I was not expecting a great deal when I bought the newly released (on Gog) game Prey. I have literally not stopped playing this game since I bought it. When I get home I start playing it and stop only to go to sleep, two hours later than usual. For the first time in years I'm actually being woken up by my alarm clock.

This game is superb. It is the thinking-man's shooter. Prey reminds me of System Shock 2 in so many ways. There are no hordes of enemies to mow down. Enemies are smart, tough and can appear out of the blue. The environments are magnificent. I spend hours just looking around and discovering the incredible design. There are numerous choices to design your character and develop abilities in the way you want.

I urge you to buy this game. I hate Steam but I'm almost wishing I had bought this game on Steam so I could have enjoyed this game sooner. I hope there is a sequel to Prey. I think it will be the first time I buy a game as soon as it is released.
I'm glad to hear it's so good! I've been waiting for it to be DRM free for a long time and bought it along with Metro Exodus (a fantastic game in its own right) as soon as they were released on GOG. I'm looking forward to playing it as soon as I'm finished with Metro.

Have you ever tried the Dishonored games as well? They're done by Arkane, the same company who did Prey. Dishonored 1 and 2 were great immersive sims as well.

The only thing i found so bad i just could not ignore it was how they setup levels like it was some arcade shoot-out, personally i feld the first one deserved a story open worldesque design

So the enemies are comparable to a wolvenstein game or more something like mass effect andromeda for reference?

I bought this game near release on Steam (yes, heresy, I know) and I loved it but couldn't convince anyone to give it a try. I would love for it to become popular through this GOG re-release, it deserved so much more. One of the few modern games that was seemingly lead not by a few passionate people in a team, but by an entire team of passionate people!

I also bought Metro Exodus and have the 71.5GB (a new record beating The Witcher 3) saved on my computer. I'm looking forward to playing it. I also bought Dishonored 1 and 2 when they were released on Gog. I've played Dishonored 1 and like it a lot. I've heard Dishonored 2 is even better.

Comparing the enemies in Prey to the enemies in Wolfenstein wouldn't be out of the ballpark, but the closest comparison I can think of is the enemies in System Shock 2 or the Bioshcok games.
