Skyrim Legendary Edition? As much as I'd love for that to be true (I'd snap up a copy in a heartbeat) I don't think that's right. I think whoever *ahem* made that list meant to put Oblivion instead. That would have made it far more credible. Bethesda is highly unlikely to sever Skyrim's links to Steam at this point. Plus New Vegas is conspicuously missing from the list as well.

Fallout 3 and Oblivion are both old enough and using obsolete DRM anyway. So there's incentive to get those titles up on GoG.

Eh I don't think it's that's far out there... though I agree Oblivion would be far more likely but it would not be the first time GOG has released games out of order.. It wouldn't take much to provide a non-steam version though, nor would it be the first to do that, a few games already on GOG have neutralized steam files inside and are clearly Steam copies.

Nice to see you around GOG though Arthmoor... love your mods. :)

Interesting list. While I doubt its veracity, like others have said, most of these honestly don't sound too implausible. So it either has a grain of truth to it or it is a well-constructed guess/hoax.

The ones that strike me as the most suspicious are WarCraft, Fable II Remastered and Tales of Zestiria (and Ultima I guess, though that could just be a typo):

- Not only has Blizzard not shown any interest in releasing their games outside of their own service, they don't really require GOG's expertise. After all, they do a good enough job of keeping their classic titles playable on modern systems by themselves. And if they were to update their classics in any significant manner, they would obviously tie them to their own service rather than a third party one. So yeah, as much as I would like to see Blizzard games on GOG, it's almost impossible that Blizzard would even entertain the idea (though, naturally, I'd be happy to be wrong on this).

- Fable II was never even released on PC. Now, granted, that doesn't preclude a hypothetical Remastered edition from coming out for the platform. But still, at least so far, we've heard no mention of a remastered edition, which makes this entry quite dubious. The only saving grace is that the title is marked as 'TBA', so it's still possible that it's something Microsoft has been working on in the background while they and GOG have been negotiating.

- Tales of Zestiria is a game released by a major Japanese publisher. While GOG does have Japanese games on the service, all of them (aside from Street Fighter Alpha 2) come from either minor Japanese developers/publishers or from third party western publishers. That fact alone makes the inclusion of Zestiria on the list very questionable indeed.

Of course, I'm sure GOG has tirelessly continued to negotiate with major Japanese publishers these past few years. And considering their recent attempts at establishing a greater Western presence, Namdai seems like the most likely one to consider something so 'unorthodox' as a GOG release. Still, even if they hopped on board, I find it unlikely that they would start off with such a recent title as Tales of Zestiria (though it could also be the 2-in-1 deal that they did with Symphonia on Steam).

My skepticism aside, though, I will add that the list might not be false even if some of the mentioned releases don't happen. What people often ignore about rumours is that plans can change, so even something that might have been true at a certain point might not actually pan out in the end. This isn't even mentioning the fact that complications and delays can arise even when something seems like a sure deal. I mean, anyone who has paid attention to the Enigmatic Hint thread will recall just how long it took from Judas' initial hint to the actual release of Hyperdimension Neptunia (and yes, Judas did confirm that the hint was related to Neptunia).
Also Full Throttle Remastered was announced for a 2017 release, so I don't see how that is supposed to be released here in the fall.
I would love to see some of these games on GOG (Emperor: Battle for Dune, Warlords, Heart of Darkness), but some of them are very questionable. C&C Remastered Collection? Such thing does not exist as far as I know, there is only The First Decade and Ultimate Collection.

While looking for an older version of this list, I found this post:
http://forum.burek.com/vesti-i-zanimljivosti-iz-sveta-igara-t330287.1420.topicseen.html

It gives a release date of May 17 for Skyrim and Fallout 3 on GOG, and June 2 for Command & Conquer: Red Alert + Counterstrike. Also curious is that the person credited for this leak is mercs213, GOG fan and torrent uploader, and someone who'd likely have bought most of GOG's games and would thus be entitled to this developer forum.

I'm still skeptical about many of these releases, for many of the reasons Prah has listed above, but only time will tell.

Dune 2
Dune HD
Emperor: Battle for Dune

While I wish that would happen its definitely false cause EA the company owning above games does not have the license from Herbert Properties LLC for Dune content anymore.

A lot of the games on the list are mustbuy for me but not very probable releases.

Awesome if true, but what of Oblivion?! :-P

I thought the same thing. But if GOG was only able to secure one of them... as much as I enjoyed Oblivion I'd have to go with Skyrim.

Same here.

Mostly because my Oblivion + Shivering disks are all offline no steam/similar required.

As much as I would love to see them released I still think this list is BS. If they have secured these games they would release them right away; or in a much shorter time frame. Its not like they are currently unreleased fresh titles.

I had official confirmation that the X-Com games were coming here since January 2015. It took GOG more than a year to finally release them.

Yes, GOG knows we want the games, and they do try to release them as soon as they can. But the time from securing the rights to distribute them until actual distribution may be long indeed :/
I find it really hard to believ that Skyrim and Fallout3 will get released in the same day ...

You might mistake that confirmation from 2015 for something else. I have a very hard time to belive they secured the chance to release a high profile classic like the original first X-Com and sit for over a year on it.
