i_hope_you_rot: Or this would be funny :

" We Happy Few is Leaving The GOG.COM Storefront. "
I'd fully expect that.

Bigs: More like "Time is an illusion... lunchtime doubly so."
Very deep. You should send that in to the Readers Digest. They have a page for people like you.

tinyE: THIS is why I don't own a watch.

Time is just a concept. I suggest people ignore it.

"Everybody's comin' home for lunch these days.
Last night there were skinheads on my lawn."

ZFR: Then Polish people come to Ireland and are surprised why it's 8 already but everything is still closed.
I'm not Polish, but this is one of the few things I am annoyed by when traveling. Apparently the majority of the world thinks it's ok when restaurants and even hotels are open from 9 to 6.

Once I was taking a cab from Barcelona to Lyon (an epic tale in and of itself) and we arrived at my hotel in Lyon at about 3 AM. It was closed. A HOTEL was CLOSED at night. Up until that point in my life I never realized that such as thing can be possible. This concept blows my mind to this day, to be honest. Luckily a very nice French couple had let me stay at their place until morning.

That sounds like a motel masquerading as a hotel =)

I'm the guy that's at the front desk from 2300-0700 to open the door for guests who are too drunk to use their keycards on the reader. And to put out the coffee at 6. And, well, Netflix doesn't watch itself...

It was a 3-star hotel, which was actually quite decent by my standards back then. (This was about 10 years ago, before I began insisting on booking 5-star hotels only.) I wouldn't call it a motel or a hostel. Still they locked the door at night. Which, come to think of it, neither motels nor hostels should do either.

Anyway, it made for a good travel story if anything. These days, though, I stay at much better hotels so it hasn't been an issue. During my trip this year I stayed in Rome, Vienna, Teplice, and Prague, and all of the hotels were open 24/7 so I was happy.
It's out on Steam, already; 4pm UTC.

Apparently, Valve is still in the process of approving the launch discount, so you can only get it for the full absurd 60 bucks. Compulsion says it should take a few minutes, so by the time I publish this it might not even be relevant anymore.

For a game that went from $30 "indie darling" to $60 "we sold our ass to Gearbox and then Microsoft and are now suddenly developing a AAA game?", some of these middle-of-the-road review scores are worrisome. And there are A LOT of 3s out of 5s, 6s out of 10s, ratings in the 60 out of 100 range. Not really great when they kept promising people a AAA experience to justify the price hike. If Witcher 3 had gotten this much lackluster reviews, CD Projekt RED would not have been in the place they are today. And, sorry, Compulsion, for 60 bucks... yeah, you'd better deliver a Witcher 3 quality game, "or else".

Seen some streams of the release build - looks interesting... but yeah... glad I bought in when it was cheap...

Far out, someone else who works the inn keeping business.
