Pawel1995: Sadly not in a user-friendly way, yet. I really hope that gog implements (optional) "public profiles" soon.
They always were very slow with implementing new or fixing existing features of the website. The community discussed this like 5 years ago and nothing happened since then. I could dig out the posts or I could rant how much more Steam is offering in this regard, but I have given up on GOG in that regard, basically.

drmike: edit: On the other hand, I'm still pushing to rename Zeogold "Hagrid" but no one seems to get it. :(
You have to add me to the list. I know Hagrid but I don't know how zeo could be compared to him. Maybe you know something I don't?

Leonard03: Just wondering if there's some way to view a friend's game library. Pretty darn useful feature over on Steam.
Maybe you can educate the rest of us, and tell what's so useful about that feature?
Other than spying on whether those who write reviews actually own those games or not, I can't really think of anything. Okay, well maybe if you want to buy someone a surprise gift.

But outside of those two very limited cases, what's the real advantage of that?

drmike: I know I've been asking for a gender flag of some sort since I got here. I work for a company with a 95% female base and well I discovered messing up pronouns for some folks is a very big problem. :)
Messing up pronouns is a problem only if you happen to use some language which is gender-specific.

On that note, not counting curiosity, what's so important about that gender flag?
I can think some special cases, like if someone slams Leisure Suit Larry hard or something, where that flag might provide some insight into those comments. But for most uses, I can't really see the importance of that?
Sharing your list of games with friends is one thing, sharing it publicly is quite another prospect.
I'd just like to do the former, but in reality, rather than just give them a ton of games to wade through, it would be much nicer if you put a tick in a box and export all those with ticks to a temporary page, that chosen friends or members could view ... and when you do another one, it overwrites the previous.

It would be like saying, 'These games are great, check them out'. And the page has images and links for them to do so.

I currently have a way to share what I have with others, that is kind of independent of GOG once set up, though you need to add game page links every time you get another game from GOG.
IonGoG Wishlist
All each person needs, is a copy of my IonGoG Wishlist program, and the specific INI files for each user.
After that, you just share an updated user INI file when relevant.

Hagrid was the keeper of the keys at Hogwarts. Zeogold is the keeper of the giveaway keys here on the forums.

Sorry, I can't find an actual clip of the scene from the first movie.

Like Itch.io collections?
It's easy to use at least, although it gets a bit confusing when you can "collect" games you don't own, and the games you own don't automatically come to a collection. Then again, I don't use those collections, so I don't personally care no matter how it works, or not.

Oh, the KEYS .. now I get it. I always remembered Hagrid as the nice bearded hunter like guy and I could not see zeo here. It's been a while since I saw the movies but I know them.

I hate to be an annoying little bugger but he doesn't actually say the line in that clip.

Been at work for 20 minutes now. I got left with a pile of papers and about 20 calls to return. Lots of fun.

With IonGoG Wishlist, a user name can be a collection name, so you can build up alternate lists if you want, and share the INI file of those.

In simple terms, I put all the games I am interested in, on my list under a name (i.e. Timboli). They get added via adding the web page URL. If I buy one of them, I set it as bought, then use the 'Relocate bought items' option to have them moved to the default name for that user - i.e. Timboli (b).

You can sort added games by the order they were added or by alpha title or price, genre, etc.

Looks like general consensus is no. Too bad.

BKGaming: @OP: I imagine public profiles will come sooner rather than later, it just takes time. Currectly there is no good way of seeing what games someone owns. You can however, on Galaxy, see if a friend owns a game you own when playing if they have played that game via Galaxy too.
Galaxy is so annoying though... -_-

The second one is not really that limited a case, the other day I was gifted a Steam key from a friend for a game I have here on GOG. There's no way to undo the activation, so the key is wasted. Also maybe you want to know what MP games you have in common and could play together.

Oh ya true. I don't care about the latter either.
