Is there a way too see it? If the game has been removed or been merged with another version if there are other versions avaliable?

No, that'd be a logical feature that required some foresight on the webdev team before they vanished into the aether. Sometimes I think the Webdev team was one guy who got fired for also doing PR snafus.

No idea what you are talking about. Can GOG remove games you got for free? Have they done it before? Because suddenly I have a less game in my library and I have no idea which game got removed.
GOG doesn't remove any games from your library, whether they are free or paid, unless a key has been purchased from a reseller.

You can review your order history and crosscheck it with your game library to see whether something has gone missing. This could be due to a technical problem on their site, and you would have to ask support to get missing content restored. Select Problem type* game not visible on shelf / list from the dropdown list. Before asking for support, you can also try to refresh your account

Games can be replaced by other versions, as was the case with Guild of Dungeoneering Deluxe Ice Cream Edition. Developers released an Ultimate Edition, and removed the original files from our libraries. One DLC of the previously available Deluxe Edition remained in the library, but could no longer be used because they also removed the main game files, which were replaced with a 1.0 Flash version. I still haven't received the files back to run the Deluxe Ice Cream Edition.

The Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall and Arena both got removed from many peoples' libraries due to some glitch a year or two ago, after both became available on their own here. Because they're both permanently free and can be (re-)claimed at will, GOG didn't bother to do a mass re-adding to affected customers' libraries. Maybe you had claimed one of them?

Yes, when they catch someone using such a key, the game gets removed from that person's account.

The good news is that it isn't likely that a game has been removed from your account, and that a refresh will very likely fix the problem you're facing. It can't hurt to delete your browser cache, website data and session cookies, log out and back into your account, and see if this fixes it, in case account refresh doesn't already.

Your answer is factually incorrect.

Gog has removed games from accounts before without any prior notice:

I wasn't affected by it, so I wasn't aware that something like this happened. This doesn't rule out the possibility that in klappi's case, it's a glitch which is causing the number of owned games to be displayed wrongly. That's something I have also experienced before.

Ouch! I didn't even noticed that. You're right my copies got removed from the library.

I am not 100% sure I since I cannot find what got removed so it adds an uncertainty and I wan't to be really sure if there were a game that got removed. But GOG did remove my previous copies of Arena and Daggerfall and now I have to buy them for free again. I wish GOG were more open about which games gets removed from the store. I didn't know GOG could remove games from your library.

This was both on the site and the client and tried to log off and log on both and didn't help.

Woah, you make it sound like a) malicious intent by GOG and b) a common occurrence, which isn't true either way. The disappearance of the two games Arena and Daggerfall sounds more like a bug or quirk in GOG's shop system. Anyone affected can simply re-add the two free games back into their collection. No harm done.

But how would you know that they got removed in the first place? I never noticed they were gone from my library until lazygog mentioned it.

I wonder does GOG have a section where they update any changes to the games you own? I don't mean new patches but when it affects your library?

I download new games right away. But I can't say that I keep track of my library. No idea if the counter is correct or not...

Usually, there is a news article announcing new game versions. Whenever you read something about an "ultimate edition", "game of the year", "5th / 10th / 25th anniversary" etc be aware that those could potentially replace something in your library. Sometimes you get a free upgrade, sometimes you are eligible for a discount. Same could happen with announced remasters and remakes of classic games.

There are cases however where old versions vanish without any chance to get the installer files back. Mori_Yuki mentioned some examples. To that list you can add Saints Row IV which was replaced by the newer but slightly different "Re-Elected" version. The reviews of that game are full of complaints about the loss of the old version.

That's why I download every game and keep a private library of my purchased games and their installer files. No one can easily take those away from me. :-D

Yeah, that happens, especially when Bethesda arbitrarily merges, unmerges, or decides to thrash the catalogue a bit.

Arena & Daggerfall used to be bolted on free with one or more purchases of any ES game, but they separated it out.

It was any Bethesda-published game -- one could've gotten them from purchasing Fallout 3 or Heretic, for example.
