I fear I already know the answer (in that case, shame on you GOG) but maybe I overlooked something? If the mouse pointer hovers over the star rating of a game, e.g. when editing GOG mixes, and you accidentally click the left mouse button and give the game a rating even though you didn't mean to, is there some way to remove that vote again?

Only through support.
I would say no,no,no.
Nervous clicking finger:-)
I would like to know it too.
Maybe it was karma balancing out somebody else's bad rating :)

I didn't say I gave a good rating. :D

Well, I think in those cases when it happened I tried to even out the false vote by setting it to 3 of 5 stars, but it doesn't really work like that, as it can still serve to upvote a bad game or downvote an extraordinary one ...

How about making a new account and using that to "correct" the review?

Nah... I'm not even concerned that much about doing justice to the games, it's just that when editing an old GOGmix of mine, I noticed that it publicly displays "my" ratings for some games I don't own, haven't played and wouldn't even like to play, just because of my itchy trigger finger. ;)
I know this is an old thread AND "solved", but I found it today and the solution isn't really what I'm looking for so... just in case someone doesn't know (I didn't): there's a "User can remove their own rating from a game" wish in the Community Wishlist.

It seems I'm not allowed to post links (too much of a lurker, I guess), so... no link, sorry.

edit: Found it:

https://www.gog.com/wishlist/site/user_can_remove_their_own_rating_from_a_game

Just for reference, breaking a link with a space or two or even leaving off the https://www.gog.com will work with many websites.

Or even something like this:

/wishlist/site/user_can_remove_their_own_rating_from_a_game

is a good workaround.

Hope this helps

At least you can change your rating. Not saying to give it a 1, but something appropriate to the Average rating.
