Anyway, Sorry folks but personally, I do not understand the GOG forum concern about ,,necro,,
(a term that I learned just here, I never heard it elsewhere but yeah I am not a forums eater...)
It's very easy to only look at the last 2-3 posts and base on that date for how old something is.

Personally i'm find with posting to old threads if it's relevant. But i guess it's been a long enough time that when you are replying you are not really taking part of a conversation that was a year ago. But replying in such a way don't expect a response to who you replied to originally, instead being on a particular topic of conversation.

Fair point and a total miracle considering the permanent purple dot that does anything else but notify.
Please, let me try to ping you here in 9 months for the sake of experimentation to see how it goes :)

I explain it that having the forum multiple vital functions broken/limited, many members here find annoying to have old threads jumping to the 1st page. Anyhow: Please count me on the infamous necro'ers list :)

About the OP: I do not use Galaxy so can't help at all, but definitely find the question very relevant.
I would like to know too just for the sake to know.
I hope the answer pops one of this days instead of tangent discussions :)
The answer, which has been mentioned in several posts, is simple, you do not have management control on saves on the web. What it is doing is simply copying your save files to a folder and then syncing that folder to a server (note this is my best guess!). The only way to manage saves is through deleting them in game.
If you want to properly manage your saves, copy and paste them locally yourself. You then have full control, can keep what you want when you want, keeps saves for multiple purposes, with mods etc. you can also back them up, and if you really can’t operate without using the internet then you can use web storage as well with them.
There is also this program (I have not used it but others here do):
https://www.gamesave-manager.com/
If you are unable to use copy and paste. In fact at this point anything is better than galaxy.

Hi nightcraw1er.488,

I agree on multiple things:
-Mgmt control on Web Saves
-The very unfortunate & rudimentary ,,workaround,,(?!) of "copying your save files to a folder and then syncing that folder to a server"
which does not surprise me considering the GOG style...
Incidental topic: Today on the thread of the new Galaxy version I learned that once you link an account from another service, those games keep showing permanently on the library no matter the account status out there...
So, very primitive the ,,GOG sync,, logic...
-You and I don't find Galaxy useful :)

Also thank you for the save manager program, I'll try it one of this days.

And sorry for the folks looking for solutions with Galaxy. Seriously.
Hi folks, even when some think it is "necroing" (a nice wording in a D&D universe ;) i think it is not a problem, since the problem is still relevant.

And the discussion about Galaxy being worthless or not does not matter here. Some think it is, others tink it is helpful. And if the second group wants to discuss and solve a problem that occurs using a tool they find useful, the first group would best simply staying away from this thread and let the second group do their thing. There is no real need to interfere. Let them alone...

I played Baldurs Gate 2 EE and had the above mentioned problem. Trying on my own, itI took me a time to understand that i have to delete the saves WHILE THE GAME IS ON. And it was a post here that helped me to understand that the Galaxy client has to be shut down for a while to refresh the cloud saves. So thank you guys, the thread helped me :) By the way: it seems that using the windows explorer does not work with all games, in some i had to delete the saves manually - what can be VERY tedious in older games with archaic save systems.

Nevertheless that is only a workaround for a problem that should not exist. I would really appreciate GOG incorporating in Galaxy more easy accessible info about handling the saves - and perhaps even this mentioned button "clear all cloud saves" - or better: "clear all cloud saves for game xy". I do not want to start a petition ^^ but i think this would make a lot of your customers happy ;)

So apart from all the bickering on this thread,

Has anybody found a way to manage cloud saves on GOG?

Thanks in advance
Still no solution?

I already disabled cloud save sync on a game but GOG keeps b****ng about not having space on the cloud to sync.

I'm hoping that by deleting the saves I can make that stop that damn alert.

Ahhh... here we go: https://www.gog.com/account/cloud-saves

Is it actually possible to navigate to that cloud management page from somewhere in the browser, within that links prerequisite, /account/? I could only find it by using a search engine to find it directly or from a support article.

I don't understand your question. Just open the link I shared in your browser
they called it beta function. moreover not available for everyone. in act it did. and gog require you manage the space bfore they erase excessive files themselves (already happened i think).
