When I search for "JRPG" I expect to see stuff like Ys and Yakuza, not hentai RPG maker games.

Thank you.

I have recommended a NSFW or similar button for years.

Gog simply aren't listening very well.

Yes, just exclude the NSFW tag. Like this.

I'd hope that's all it takes. But it doesn't affect the main site page; which would be more useful.
Yeah!, it's called your eyelids...
There isn't one, but you can turn off various hentai, mature, nudity, NSFW, and sexual content tags. Most of the RPG maker games have the Hentai and NSFW tags (but that includes Neptunia x Senran Kagura). And then bookmark the link for quick reference.

gog.com/en/games?tags=jrpg&hideDLCs=true&excludeTags=hentai,nsfw

Messy, but you'll be missing out on some good non-RPGmaker games if you disable the other 18+ tags:

- Mature - Akiba's Trip series, Hyperdimension Neptunia U, Yakuza series
- Nudity - Agarest series, Death end re;quest, Dragon Star Varnir, Hyperdimension series, Neptunia x Senran Kagura, Ruined King, Yakuza series
- Sexual Content - Akiba's Trip series, Death end re;Quest series, Dragon Star Varnir, Fairy Fencer F, Haven, Indivisible, Megadimension, Neptunia Virtual Stars, Yakuza series

I agree though, GOG needs a separate tag filter for RPG maker games.

While these suggestions are indeed quite valid, they're just not well, persistant enough. As to the matter of the issue, I'd suggest the Data Grid overview of the store. It's a lot faster than dealing with the inelegance of GOG's list & grid views, and allows you to exclude tags much easier.

Then, when you find a NSFW game without the proper tag, you can just skip GOG support and report them to either the Polish authorities or the European Union to really get their attention for once.
I don't know dude. Last time I came in a thread and made fun of GOG for highlighting and selling smut, within 2 weeks they had a smut sale as though they were thinking "I'm going to show that guy and the rest of the people in that thread who don't want smutty crap on GOG!"

Seriously, I'm a quarter Polish and have a lot of Polish relatives. You'd be amazed (or not) at how much they'll do to get back at you when you raise a good point, such as not selling smut on a website that is easily accessible to minors.

Sheershaw: When I search for "JRPG"
1. In the sidebar on the left, expand the Tags section.
2. In the tags search box, type NSFW
3. Hover over NSFW in the tags search results and you'll see an eye icon on the right. Click it to exclude that tag.
You can bookmark the resulting page so you don't need to manually reapply the filters each time.

There's no way to opt-out of these games elsewhere on the site or in promotional newsletters. You can hack away at the site with a content blocker like uBlock Origin but the result is a mess and I don't recommend it.
