Simple answer, no. M$ doesn't have any games here as far as I can remember, and they ignored the totally failure that is games for windows dead, and have pushed on with their new dreadful store. When you add to this that they have the remastered version, in keeping with other remasters, they will not want the old version competitions with the new one. So no, it will never see the light of day I am afraid. I recently played the remaster and was quite impressed and it brought back memories.
All I know is my gut says maybe

The original graphics are still in the Definitive Edition, I've seen it on a youtube video, you press F5 or something and it switches to the original.

Well, I played through the first campaign and had no bugs. You still get the bad pathfinding, and some of the annoying quirks from the original. But otherwise I didn't have any issues. My opinion, it brought back all the nostalgia, and graphically it's a fairly large increase. Would I buy it here, sure, would I pay more than a £10 note for it, nope.
You could always play Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds. From what I understand it's basically the same, just reskinned with the Star Wars license.

He is talking about Age of Empires, not Age of Empires 2.

I'm pretty confident they will not appear on GOG... but don't let that keep you from dancing naked on your balcony! Knock yourself out!

I believe Nordic came up with some kind of deal with Microsoft and that's why we got Ori here, but maybe the sales were too discouraging for Nordic to be able to convince M to let them release more games here, or something. :P
Yes. Not a very big chance. Probably so small as to be pretty much non-existent. But there's always a chance.

I can confirm (as in I know someone involved with it at MSFT) that it won't happen. Microsoft's plans do not include any sort of releasing of the original CD-ROM games.

Galactic battleground totally sucks, looks and feels like some mediocre fan-made mod. And in the Gog version the enemy AI seems to be broken in the campaign missions (at least I got that impression).
