Everything is said in the question, I heard outward was released on 26/03/2019, but I dont know anything about a potential release on gog.

For the people who don't know anything about the game:

Outward delivers an immersive RPG experience coupled with survival gameplay, offering a deeply-rewarding challenge for the most avid gamers.
As an ordinary adventurer, you’ll not only have to hide or defend yourself against threatening creatures, but also brave the hazardous environmental conditions, protect yourself against infectious diseases, make sure you get enough sleep, and stay hydrated. Embark on perilous expeditions across untamed lands to reach new cities, undertake varied missions and discover hidden dungeons crawling with formidable enemies.

In order to survive in the dazzling yet deadly world of Aurai, you’ll have to be cunning, clever and prepared. Devise diverse strategies to defeat your foes and don’t neglect your basic needs, sharing your journey with a friend, locally or online.

Survive in the wilds as you explore the land
Play solo or cooperatively, split screen locally or online
Ritualistic, step-by-step approach to spellcasting
Constant auto-saving means you must live with your decisions
Encounter dynamic defeat scenarios
A unique experience with every playthrough

Well, a nice fantasy world where we are not a chosen one, the son of a god or anything else, the main goal is to survive and to learn about this world without fast travel nor quicksaves.

So, gog, what's up about that game?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Hello Mr. Wells .

Can I beat Outward in a single playthrough?
No, you would have to create multiple characters to complete the story mode. Once you join a faction, you cannot join another faction with the same character. You must create a new character to join a different faction.

It often is the little detail that reveals the spy or the time traveller.

No chance, sorry. Apparently, that "is too niche", too.

From another Steam discussion https://steamcommunity.com/app/794260/discussions/0/3300476731157334228/

The ninedots dev Gheeyom answered: "Which platforms the game ends on depends on Deep Silver. As the publisher, they are in charge of the game's distribution. I'd say that if their RPGs usually end up on GOG, there's a fair chance our game would end up there as well?"

Thus never say never !

In a world where Steam is made for Steam itself, Epic Games mainly for devs and GoG mainly made for players, imposing DRM through any intrusive platform to somehow avoid piracy is total hypocrisy. A person who don't buy the game will get it in various ways...
Anyway stop bothering those who buy'em !

For my part, so much so that I expected this game, it will be on Gog or never. Voilà !!!
