So i bought a game i didn't want (didn't download it) and i'm waiting for a response from support more than 2 days and i actually wanted to make use of the sale going on right now, is it normal to wait so much?
Should i open a new ticket about it?
If anyone could help i would really appreciate it.

How do you buy a game you don't want?
It used to be way faster, maybe support is currently swamped (what with the site redesign and all). Payment-related inquiries usually get preferential treatment. Opening another ticket is not advisable, that will probably just make things take even longer.

My recommendation: Be patient, the sale is still going on until October 7th. Who knows, maybe they will release another game you'd be interested in until then. No need to rush things.

Thanks for the tip, it's my first time buying anything on gog and i'm used to steam's way of handling refunds.

Mistakes happen. I bought a wrong edition of the newest X game, and dummy as I was, I even downloaded it before I realized my mistake. In my case, GOG was cool enough to refund me with store credit anyway (I bought the correct, Complete Edition, later).

Also those people who have games on Steam and forget they already have a game there and blaa blaa blaa. I don't have that problem though.

No problem.

Don't worry, as long as you didn't download or install the game or the extras, you'll get your refund.

You can also check the status of your support tickets by going to https://support.gog.com, then click on "Sign in" on the upper right hand corner, then click on your user name and select "My activities". Then you should be able to see the ticket you sent and the current status.
