My, my memory of Inglourious Basterds is not as good as I thought. I thought the index-middle finger-ring finger sign was described as being German, not the reverse. And yet according to jamyskis, the British understand both signs.

Which makes sense, as they are a part of Western Europe, yet apart from it.

As for counting with fingers, I can vouch for the fact that in the U.S., nobody uses the "thumb is the first finger out" thing -- it just feels awkward when I try to stick out my thumb while folding any of my other fingers. But I guess it's all what we get used to. =)

About the CFS games, the only one that runs in an actual OS, is CFS2.

About the Il-2 games, 1946 is still maintained, but if you are trying to install the DVD edition instead of a digital one, first, to install it, you need to run a file called a.exe, it launch the installer without problems, then and without running the game, you need to update to the 4.08, then apply a no-cd crack, then install all the following updates one by one (most of then are really large files). Actually the last is the 4.13.2.

I think my CD IL 2 1946 is dead because I cannot launch the file a.exe (The reader cannot load the files... as the CD turns and turns and turns again!!!).
End of life of my CD IL 2 1946 ! (AMEN !!!)

Anyway, I have an other IL2 CD : the IL2 EXLUSIVE Collection from UBI Soft. This CD is reliable as I can access to all of the files in the CD. Unfortunately, the a.exe.file does not exists inside.
Two other executable files exit : steup.exe and setUbi.exe...

With this version of IL2, Have you a suggestion to allow me a rigth installation ?

About the Exclusive Collection, I not have it, but I have the original Il-2Sturmovik, I'm to try if I manage to install it in W10.

Edit: I managed tu run it.
Installed it normally, but instead of install it in the default folder, installed it out of program files, to avoid potential problems with the UAC, then updated it to 1.2.
I need to install a crack, and in the installation folder, find the il.2exe file, and put it in Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode. I'm also need to launch the game from this file instead of from the link to the launcher.
