IronArcturus: I keep getting an "aborted connection on dege.freeweb.hu" error on Avast Antivirus. I added a screenshot. I checked the website on virustotal.com and the vast majority of the scanners said the website was fine. I then went to the exclusion list for on both "General" and "Web Shield" in Avast and added that full website, but it still will not let me download the file.
The filename is dgVoodoo2_55_4_1.zip.
Is there a problem with the file? Or is there a mirror of this file to download instead? I need it for Star Wars: Episode I Racer to run in a window.
I know this is solved and this reply might already be written by others, but: Avast/any anti-virus will often throw up false positives.....even on safe/verified safe sites and files. This is why I usually add an exception to it's lists to allkow such through in such cases and/or rescan such files/sites with others AV programs to be sure.

Ixamyakxim: I wouldn't. I get sketched out downloading stuff from weird websites.
I probably wouldn't even click on that URL let along download something and absolutely not after my AV flagged it.
As others have said there are false positives even on good/safe sites. Also even the best AV programs miss newer viruses/exploits and people can get infected even with the "best"/most up-to-date protection money can buy.
(This is not to say one shouldn't use some caution, however....just that one should also not let one's self get too paranoid.)
