Just a fyi, if you right click on the graph and pick the Change Graph To -> Logical Processors, you can see the different cores within the processor instead of just a combination of them together.

I believe you should see a total of 8 graphs with the i7-6700HQ.

But I'm sitting here watching West Wing clips on Youtube and I;m seeing 20% usage.

In case you didn't know already, if you go to the Processes tab, you can sort them by the CPU Usage and see which ones are hogging your CPU.

Be sure to tick the Show processes from all users box at the bottom of the window - at least that's how it is in Windows 7.

Do be careful with watching the graphs though. I;ve had more than one mom post "I've just wasted an hour watching the pretty graphics and the spikes!"
