So, it appears that IO Interactive has finally broken his bonds with the maleficient Square-Enix empire. What a great day for humanity!
According to this: ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0k_UKVhe6Dg ) they also retain the rights for Hitman and freedom fighters.
Does that mean that they can finally get on the DRM-free boat? Blues, if you are reading this, get a move on and contact them!
Both of those games would be an Epic win for GOG but it definitely depends on IO Interactive's intent on what they want to do with those titles.
Hitman is my second favourite series of all time after Thief... and both have been butchered by those jap vampires. That is not talking about Deus Ex, Tomb Raider and all the other great Eidos titles either.

GOG should better get them soon, or I'm off to Poland with a pitchfork! XD
We discussed this already:

You should have a pie on the pitchfork to make a statement.
Great but also older news by (I think) a few months. I'd like to think we can at least expect Hitman Blood Money.
Oh. Well, I wasn't around at the time...
Consider me a delayed excited fan. I discovered the thing only today, thought it was news.

Consider it does take a few months to a year to get that kind of ball rolling and the discussion previously was more about speculation of what titles IO gets to keep, I'd say this one is better to keep us updated on the state of all the titles of IO and whether they'll be joining the GOG selection rather than revive a thread from a couple months back which apparently is a good way to get downrepped.
